For Twilight Dunes: Very close to Joshua Tree National Park. Full hook ups but no laundry, showers or rest rooms. No on site office. Signup by calling the office to see if they have space. They will email you the paperwork and DocuSign forms. Each space is gravel and wide. Lots of space. Very dusty and can be noisy at night and morning due to traffic. I’m told most of the park are full time active duty personnel. Each site has garbage and recycle bins. There is a picnic area and play area. Each site has a storage shed for long termers. Best part is the base has great amenities to include awesome commissary, exchange, car wash, gyms & mini-mart with disel. All are very close to RV park. Fast food sites are close to park like Carl’s Burgers. Was great having this option while visiting Joshua Tree Park. I’ll be back!

For Twilight Dunes: Staff was super friendly and accommodating. There was a slight problem with our first spot staff was great. Super close to Joshua tree. All spots are dirt, gravel and mostly level. Awesome base services library, pools, commisary, BX. Gas station sells diesel. Park seems full of active duty but things were neat and tidy. There is about 5-10 short term spots. They did away with the weekly rate and currently only have daily and monthly. Daily rate seems a little high for dirt/gravel buts it’s California. Would recommend visiting.

For Twilight Dunes: We stayed last week in February, paid for 5 nights but cut short to 4. Nice to visit Joshua Tree NP and other places around Palm Springs but lots of long distance driving because this is a military base tucked away. Advantage of the base is gas station, DECA, MCX, and security. The RV park itself had full hook ups, carport at each site, trash pick up w full size trash cans; I would have preferred community dumpster because our trash can was missing and it takes an act of Congress to get one replaced, even after we called it in the first day, so we had to take our trash w us daily. The sites were roomy, no amenities, and the road in & out of the park was gravel & dirt so in the desert that’s constant dust stirred up by cars and rvs. Since it was February, weather was still cold and windy especially at night, one night very windy, sounded like things flying around us. Not very many places for eating or shopping nearby, have to drive the hour to Palm Springs. Definitely won’t need to return here.

For Twilight Dunes: Stayed here for two nights. Sites are large and there's a covered parking spot if you have a car. The park could use some upgrading. The long, bumpy gravel entrance road kicks up a lot of dust and the tree limbs as you enter onto the paved part needs trimmed back for larger RV's. Was disappointed that there were no toilets, showers or laundry on site. There is a laundromat nearby but too far to walk.

Reeac

For Twilight Dunes: Spots are wide and deep with a covered carport and trash service weekly. The commissary and px are not far away and main and alternate gate are close also. The streets are paved and lighted. There are no shower houses or a place to do laundry on the campground.
