Bryan

For Dearhammer Campground: Best camping experience we had this year! we tried a couple of other places earlier in the year and their bathrooms were not as nice the fishing was not as good and the piece that stands out the most was the hostess Chrissy is an incredible asset to the forest service she knows the area knows the fishing grounds and best of all she made our experience incredible!!

Eric

For Dearhammer Campground: The campsite was great, a little dusty but that’s not hard to get past. Bathrooms were super clean and organized, and the host was incredibly knowledgeable about the area and things to do, all the way down to suggesting which lures to catch fish with. I will absolutely return to the site!

For Dearhammer Campground: It's a normal improved campsite. It's designed for campers or a few tents. In a late night pinch we were able to jam 5 motorcycles and tents into one site. The snow runoff was so loud it felt like nobody else was there. The camp host was amazing and they had THE cleanest bathrooms I've been in outside of my own home.

Dorience

For Dearhammer Campground: I have done a lot of camping in Colorado over the past 22 years and this campsite is hands down the biggest dump I have ever seen. We left within 5 minutes of arriving. Not only is it located at the very end of the reservoir in a corner right by a large concrete bridge, but it is ridiculously small. The tent sites are literally right next to each other, like parking spaces in a parking lot and with hardly no space to pitch a tent. At first I thought we were going to have to pitch our tent on the actual parking spot as we could not figure where else to do it. All the spaces are cramped up in a small circle. By far the most depressing campsite I have ever seen! I cannot believe I wasted money on this site. Never again!
