For Cheyenne Mountain State Park: Stayed at Cheyenne Mtn SP for two weeks in October and loved it. The views and sunrises from the Raptor Glen campsites were beautiful. FHU level, quiet sites with a good amount of space between sites. There are nice hiking trails from the campground and great Mtn bike trails (Talon & Sundance we’re beginner level but still lots of fun and a work-out.). Yes, Colorado charges campers the $10 daily or $80 annual park pass, but they obviously invest the money back in their parks. I enjoyed hearing reveille each morning with windows open from Fort Carson

For Cheyenne Mountain State Park: We visited on December 28 in a class C 26 foot RV. This is our favorite park and if you’re in the area you really should stay here. The visitor center is amazing, the spots are concrete level pads, the staff answers the phone and questions. It snowed when we visited and they were quick to clear the roads. There are many trails in the park. However they are not pet friendly. It is a short drive to Colorado Springs.

For Cheyenne Mountain State Park: We loved our stay here! Very quiet and well kept. Large, level site that was paved. Beautiful views over the Springs. Only wish we could have stayed longer. Next time I’ll be sure to get a handicap accessible spot for my husband in a wheelchair as the table and fire pit at site 1 are on another level with steps. Otherwise great stay for camping and getting away to quiet.

Jeff

For Cheyenne Mountain State Park: Super nice State Park. Close to the Springs but you feel like your really out there. Level concrete pads, very nice H2O, Sewer, Elec hook ups. We used 30amp plus has 110 receptacles. Easy check in, nice restrooms. Laundry on site but was closed due to Covid. I think the were opening it back up the week we left. Lots and lots of hiking trails, biking trails. All are not dog friendly. Across the street from Ft Carson. Great Park.

Dee

For Cheyenne Mountain State Park: Super nice and easy. Level spots, beautiful views, great facilities. Some were closed while we there due to COVID. Great place to camp as it is still close to many things to do. Reserve early!

Basicbox

For Cheyenne Mountain State Park: Really nice SP. Very clean, paved, level, near Co Springs, but feels nice and isolated. Very clean bathhouse, great sites. Good cell (AT&T), but no WiFi. Full hookups. Need reservations. Highly recommend for short or longer stay. We stayed in 27’ Airstream.
