Michi

For KOA Holiday Cripple Creek: Nice campground about 10 miles from town of Cripple Creek. Pancake and pizza for sale from their kitchen. Nice hiking path at the rear of the campground.

For KOA Holiday Cripple Creek: WiFi was slow but dependable...much better than some campgrounds we've been to. The store and laundry were top-notch and clean. (We never used the bathrooms or showers). The employees were very friendly. This was a nice quiet RV park. The sites were close but adequate. It rained almost every single day for a little while but it’s the monsoon season. Most campsites are on a hill but spaces were surprisingly level - all pull-thrus. Water/sewer/50 amp worked perfectly. We were in site 147 and would stay in this campground again if we're ever in the area. There are beautiful views of surrounding mountains and sunsets. The place filled up on weekends and pretty empty during the week.

MHGIRL

For KOA Holiday Cripple Creek: Nice campground. Clean and quiet. Close to Cripple Creek and Victor. Walmart and larger stores about 1/2 hr drive. Sites are terraced and on a hillside. Tight maneuvering. Saw a fifth wheel almost go over the terrace as he was trying to pull out. . Gravel and pretty short. Difficult for larger rigs to situate and park tow vehicles. Grass between sites a plus, however they slope downhill and hard to position chairs. Sewer connections at very rear of site mean u need extra hose. Electric and water good. Nice dog park and play areas. Tent sites further up the hill and in the trees look nice. Lots of grassy areas to walk dogs.

Lonnie

For KOA Holiday Cripple Creek: Cleanest KOA I have ever stayed in. Owner hosts were great in providing local information and welcoming attitude. We stayed in tent sites which were well maintained and scenic.

Dragland

For KOA Holiday Cripple Creek: Great campground, reasonable driving distance from the usual tourist sites in the area. Campsites are a little cramped, but that also means better availability. A little tight maneuvering our 44 foot 5th wheel but doable. Also had overflow parking for our other rig. Would recommend.

Vicki

For KOA Holiday Cripple Creek: Nice campground. Great views. The tent sites looked really nice, with picnic shelters for each site and a group kitchen. The RV sites were a bit short but otherwise ok.
What really got me was that - despite signs saying "dogs may not be left unattended" - the owner/manager(?) left two dogs outside on a second story deck all day. The dogs spent the day running back and forth, barking at everything and everyone who moved thru the campground. A bit annoying.
