For The River Forks: Campground is part of the River Forks Inn. The view of the river was amazing, but other issues will probably keep me from trying this campground again. There is one room with a toilet and shower for the whole campground to share. We did have full hookups at our site with a fire pit and picnic table. Sewer hookup was even with the front of my trailer which was too far away for us to use. I assume this is because the river was so close to the back of the camper. More permanent campers were using two lengths of sewer hose so they could hook up. Sites were decently level, but a bit close. The office/inn is beautiful and adjoins the bar/dinning area which had live music. Behind the Office/Inn, the grounds are a bit messy with half finished projects and materials laying in piles all around. We had to maneuver around various objects like a shovel and chairs left on the walkway while on our way to the shower. The layout of the campground gave me some pause. You drive behind the office and back into your site which is not too big of a problem although some parked cars were in our way and office staff offered to have people move their cars so we could pull up far enough to back in. However, if you have a longer rig, getting out certainly requires some planning. You have to leave out the same drive you came in from which means turning your rig around in a tight space. From our site with a 30ft TT, we had to pull forward and back up several times to get out while trying to avoid all of the parked cars from people staying in the inn. With a shorter rig or in a different site, you may not have a problem at all. If my brother-in-law, who pulls trailers for a living, had noticed you had to leave the same way you came, he said he probably would not have stopped here. Staff was nice and the river was beautiful and only about 20ft from the back of our site. If I try this place again, I personally will only do it in my pop-up.
