For Estes Park Campground at East Portal: Lovely lovely park. There are a handful of sites with full hookups, most for RVs only electric/water with a dump station on the way out,. This is not a park for large RVs! We have a 20’ trailer and anything much bigger than that would not work, period. The sites are interspersed in woods on dirt roads, no paving or concrete. You can walk right into the park from the campground. Nice facilities buildings, flush toilers, warm showers with good pressure. Terrible cell reception, but we got texts. And the city is only 5 minutes away.

For Estes Park Campground at East Portal: Nice camp near RMNP, so close you can literally hike into the park. Really clean and nice bathrooms (both old and new). Sites are very close together, little privacy and many campers ignore the quiet hours (which seems to be the only rule that the very strict camp hosts don’t enforce). Other than that, a lovely stay.
