For Jellystone Park at Larkspur: HORRIBLE. 🤮 Never again. But as RV’ers know, the Denver area is pathetic with respect to having a short-term, nice park. I initially was going to book Chattfield, but we wanted to avoid the 470 traffic in the morning, since we were headed on I-25 south. Dirty. Run down. Slots super close to one another. Trains at night. Seriously... save yourself the $ and either find a WalMart or keep driving.

For Jellystone Park at Larkspur: Made reservations thru the Jellystone processing center. They failed to mention that this campground was in the process of construction as they are expanding! Dirt, dust, railroad tracks, and an Interstate Highway! Price was okay, considering. We won’t be back, here or at any Jellystone campground, EVER!

For Jellystone Park at Larkspur: This park is in horrible shape. We wanted to stop to give the kids a place to play and stay one night to break up a long trip. The playground was broken with crime scene tape roping it off that looked to have been there for a while. The photos of the pool online are either old or photoshopped, it’s gross and we had to walk through a dusty, dilapidated construction site to get there. Our site was twenty yards from both the highway and a freight train track. In the end the place was so bad and we felt so unsafe that we packed up and kept moving and didn’t stay the night. Do not waste your money here. I cannot believe how much they charge for this nasty, creepy, depressing rv Park.

For Jellystone Park at Larkspur: If you like hourly passing coal trains--a mere 200 feet from my weed infested and mostly dirt site--then this is the place for you! We paid with taxes $75/nite for a full hook-up site because it was the only one available in the Denver area on Memorial day weekend. I wish we had just stayed at Walmart. PS. Forgot to mention the four-lane highway right next to the train track.

The LuckyPenny Guy

For Jellystone Park at Larkspur: Never again!
Told "If you want WiFi you will have to call the Internet provider and have it fixed! Because NONE of your 6 Apple products are capable of working with the network"
WTF? No IPhone, iPad or Net Book!
No help from the nice folks in the office.
All they could do is say "Call the Internet provider"
Trying to BS me that it was Apples fault!
2 hours on the phone and still nothing because of a signal conflict.
Low water pressure because you share with a neighbor. Who is very close.
I would leave if we had a place to go for the next two nights. Plus we pre registered and no refund.
Not a happy camper!
Move on to some other RV park even if it is a dump you will be happier!

Michelle

For Jellystone Park at Larkspur: Sites were nice. Took a little leveling but pretty private. Friendly staff. But ridiculously expensive ($62/night in early April!). Poor planning on our part and much of CO camping isn't open until late April or May so we had few choices. Not worth $62.

Denise

For Jellystone Park at Larkspur: Stayed here one night. We paid $48.00 for a full hookup site which is a little pricey in my opinion for an average spot. We were very close to our neighbors. Our site had a fire pit but it was in very close proximity to vehicles/campers so we decided not to use it. Kids enjoyed jumping on the inflatable pillow. There were also fall type activities such as a hay ride, maze and corn pit.
