For KOA Journey Limon: If I could give half-stars I’d give this KOA 3.5. I feel like some of the reviews are harsh (I almost didn’t stay here based on them). The +: Cleanliness, convenience and Helpful/accommodating staff (I arrived after hours and needed assistance from the manager who drove out and tended to my needs within 2 minutes after I called the number listed on the night Rez board). The less desirable are noted in other comments you see here — though it was dry when I stayed, sites were graveled and level. I have a Winnebago Sprinter campervan so I didn’t feel crowded in my site. Worked for me as a stay-over for a night and I would come back again for the same reason.

Linda

For KOA Journey Limon: Staff very friendly but the campground leaves much to be desired. Close to highway, with associated noise. Sites narrow, poorly marked, soft dirt with many ruts. No picnic table at our site. Bathrooms were clean. Worked for a quick overnight, but would pass this by if able. At $50 a night, a lot of money for little in return.

Wanderer

For KOA Journey Limon: Pass this one by. Old rough dirt road entrance. Tired old park with old pedestals and close together. Rough roads, rough sites close together. About the ugliest koa that i ever seen. How it got 9/10/8 from good sam tells me that someone has not seen this place in 20 years or ......... koa should de list this one.

Phil

For KOA Journey Limon: Keep on rollin past. Sights are small and my tow vehicle is sitting in a muddy pond. Could only put out on of my slides in lot 55.

Deb

For KOA Journey Limon: The entrance sign is a little small on Main Street, so don’t miss it. Pool is small but refreshing on a hot day! Internet very slow, Verizon cell worked well.

B and D

For KOA Journey Limon: Okay for one night. Convenient to I 70 with level sites rather close together. Pool and limited cable made granddaughter happy—along with all the bunnies. They’re working on gravel throughout campground and need to update septic hook ups badly. Pizza Hut within walking distance. Pancake breakfast offered at $6.

RetiredRoadrunner

For KOA Journey Limon: We stayed here one night we stopped with a reservation at about 4:30 it was half full and filled up by 7. We saw at least 5 RVs pulled in with No Reservations that were turned away.
Nice pool - easy pull through but not a lot of room. The states were level and gravel.
