For Pinon Flats Campground - Great Sand Dunes National Park: On of the best National Parks to camp. Quite and beautiful. Hard to get anything more than 32 feet in but you can do it with some work. Weather is great this time of the year. Mid August 74 is the high 45 at night. Great sleeping weather. Enjoyed the sand dunes!!!

For Pinon Flats Campground - Great Sand Dunes National Park: Clean bathrooms, potable water available. No showers. Hosts were great. Sites are first come first served until May. We had no problem getting a good spot in early April, but gets filled up quickly in summer. Great views of the dunes from loop 1 sites.
