For Pinon - Lathrop State Park: This is a very good State Park with easy access and plenty of level sites with water and electricity. It’s a good place to stop on the way west from Walsenburg. There’s a water fill station and water adjacent to many sites. The restrooms are pretty clean and everything is usually open until the end of October. There’s a public golf course and a small lake with some hiking trails. The sites are paved. I had 3 bars of AT&T but no TV over-the-air channels .

For Pinon - Lathrop State Park: Beautiful location. Nice spots. Well separated. No opinion about the rest rules because we did not use.

For Pinon - Lathrop State Park: Campground was good, with pull throughs. We had water and electric in Loop B. We did not have to unhook the Jeep in our site. We camped in a 45’ Class A. Some of the sites were tight, but ours was ok. We camped in mid-July.

For Pinon - Lathrop State Park: Pinon campground loop B, Space 43 was a long pull through. Did not have to unhook from my 30 ft travel trailer. Ele tic only 30 and 50 amp. No water but community hydrants nearby for filling tank. Centrally located showers and toilets which we did not use. Most sites level within 2 inches. Our site had electric hookup, picnic table, and fire ring on left side. Have to walk around trailer to get to picnic table. No wifi. Verizon cell coverage was adequate. Park has 2 lakes, one for motorboats and the other for no wake kayaks. Can swim and fish in lake. Hiling trails and w9ildlife viewing opportunities. Sites are well seperated but you can still see almost everyone on your loop. HUERFANO County has very strict Covid guidelines at time of this review. They dont want you to leave the park while you stay here. Loop. Would stay here again.

For Pinon - Lathrop State Park: My absolute favorite state park in Colorado. We go twice a year in a 34’ Class A. Outstanding pull throughs and some campsites are absolutely huge! I won’t list the exact site numbers in which I think are the best (so you won’t get my spot lol 😜) but look around. There are some hidden gems of campsites here. I even camp here in February in the snow. First free faucets will have water but composting toilet will be only available bathroom facility that time of year.

For Pinon - Lathrop State Park: Lots of pull through sites. No water at sites. $24 for electric site plus $7 a night if you dont have colorado pass. Showers are .50 for 4 minutes. Hot and clean but no dry space to dress. Beautiful trails, roads to bird watch from and lakes. Mountain views. We have enjoyed our stay.

For Pinon - Lathrop State Park: 30ft fifth wheel. Stayed overnight. Not a bad camp site but would not stay long term. Would do overnight stay again. Bring plenty of water hose so you can reach your camper to fill fresh tank or fill it before you get there. Bring quarters for showers. Beautiful views. Nice lakes and park office. Playground could be updated.
