For Bass Haven Campground: Price was good with Passport America $17 per night. No sewer hookup but had a dump station. We stayed one night.
Only two transient spots available & they were Very tight spots but they were both pull throughs - we had about 2 foot wide strip of grass that backed up to a permanent camper with an attached porch. The other transient spot faced the water, and looked much nicer!
Restrooms clean but water pressure was low. No heat in restrooms. Grounds were very well kept and properties were neatly kept. Office staff and everyone was very helpful and kind.

We had a beautiful view of lake. Mostly
Long term Rvs but a view transient spots. Definitely come back here again. No sewer but a few nights that is ok.

For Bass Haven Campground: Great little park hidden away on a beautiful lake. Very quiet and friendly. Accepts Passport America. No problems with anyone.

For Bass Haven Campground: The owner Lola is a real nagging, paranoid. From the first night I arrived she was talking to me and treating me like a child, nagging and telling me what not to do in her park. I'm a full time traveler and stay in may nicer places than this, and I've never come across a more rude or spiteful owner.

It all started with dog poop. I don't have a bathroom in my trailer so in the mornings I would put my dogs on a lead and go into the restroom facilities, before I could make it back to my trailer to clean up the dogs she was already in my face about it citing rules and regulations. You can't give a person 15 minutes in the morning to take care of these things?! She went as far as to pick up poop and leave it on my doorstep! who does that?!

Also they don't abide by their own regulations, often her brother who does maintenance there would start weed whacking or lawn mowing right outside my trailer at 7:30 am. Noise ordinance rules there say quiet time is until 8pm, when I asked why there was lawn maintenance going on before 8am I was told I must be mistaken and they got mad at me! I finally went over one morning when this was happening and the owners reluctantly asked the lawn guy to stop, however the disdain for me was clear and they were just fuming that I had a valid point and caught them in breaking their own rules.

I got into a heated argument with the owner over these issues and she decided to give me 3 days notice to leave the park, and get this.. in those 3 days I was not allowed to use the restroom facilities. The owner actually shut off the water while I was in the shower and called the cops!!!

After reading the other negative posts on here it is clear how deep the owner Lola's paranoia runs.. she also accused me of flooding her bathrooms. I imagine what happened is that after they shut off the water while I was in the shower, then turned it back on after i left, the shower head was on and caused the issue. She told me she has cameras everywhere and is "watching" for something to call the cops about. This lady needs serious mental help.

The campground itself is decent, small and a little swampy on the end I was staying on but otherwise clean and well maintained.

For Bass Haven Campground: Decent place, wifi was good. Not much to do around here and some residents trailers are looking a bit old but have seen worse.
