For Southern Palms RV Resort: This is an Encore mega campground. We have stayed here for short stays three years in a row because of family nearby, but this is the last. The experience was worse each time. The sites are about as close as they can physically make them. Lots of permanents that are kind of shabby. The traffic and traffic noise are bad. This time there was loud rap music until after midnight from the adjacent fairgrounds. One small pool for 800 sites. Interior roads are paved, sites are grass and most are level but ours wasn’t this time. The one good thing I can say is that if you can’t find a site elsewhere they can usually, literally, squeeze you in.

For Southern Palms RV Resort: Awful experience-to start park on grass! In am toilets shut and no water to fill my tanks. “Burst pipes” Refused refund sent me across the road to use water & restroom dirty. Advertising as Internet but none available. Looks like it may be corporate site - they don’t give a s….!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!

For Southern Palms RV Resort: We stayed about 2 weeks, very clean, nice workers, 25% permanent Mobile homes, some mixed in with vacationers. I had two Mobile homes on either side, it seemed weird but the owners kept to themselves. Lots to keep busy, pool, shuffle board, classes, bingo, line dancing lessons, jam sessions, workout room (needs work but great fun to have it). Laundry had lots of machines, sidewalks to ride bikes around town. 3 sections so you could go to different parks to go to classes or use the pool. A lot of grumbling about park issues. No cable at my sight, I asked them to fix it but no one did. Right behind me and to the side was some sewage thing that had a bad smell but I didn’t sit outside much. My spot was roomy 51 but the other spots were pretty close. It wasn’t awful but I am not sure It wouldn’t be my first choice.. Pool closed at dusk! Who does that? Not very kid friendly. No kids in classes or bingo, I didn’t see a playground either. Nice little city near by with a park.

For Southern Palms RV Resort: Called on the phone to the 800 number because that is what the website said. Explaine the equipment we have and told them we were okay with storage and our motorcycles and car were okay on the site. Got there and was told we could y use the storage because we wouldn’t be able to get the rv back out with the soft ground. They gave us another site with fit everything but they wanted to charge more. I said no this wasn’t y fault. Came to an u see standing which was better. When we wa Ted to stay an extra 3 days they charged the elite rate. Lots of traffic noise on the pines side. It was okay, but will probably will be looking elsewhere next yr.

For Southern Palms RV Resort: This is an Encore (membership) community so first and foremost there are a lot of permanent trailers and park models with full-time residents. This isn't the place to take your kids for a weekend camping trip. In comparison to other parks of this class, I would rate it above average. The grounds are clean and well maintained, it was quiet, staff super friendly, bathrooms and laundry were nice. There's a really nice dog park but it's kind of hidden, you have to go into the gated storage area all the way in the back to access it. The WiFi costs extra so I didn't use it and can't comment. There is a lot to offer in the surrounding town of Eustis. One thing to note is if you're a full-timer they will not accept your forwarded mail unless you're staying for more than a month.

For Southern Palms RV Resort: Nice park and pools are well kept. Please note wifi is not included and is available for extra cost. Also lots of permanent residents living on mobile homes.
