Biggie Bus

For Dogwood Loop - O Leno State Park: This is very isolated - and while the Dogtrail camp area is nicely hidden - there seems to be little space between sites.
I arrived to the neighboring site having lunch on my site's picnic table.
Restrooms are decent - not the cleanest around.
There was a camp host site with a trailer - but not sure they were doing anything - as the sites did not seem to be cleaned after use.
Pretty trails. I think if the noisy neighbors weren't there - it would have made a for a better experience. A lot of car traffic and laughter through the night. ?

Denny & Kim

For Dogwood Loop - O Leno State Park: We stayed in the DOGWOOD LOOP bathhouse was cleaned about every 3-4 days (nasty place) . All lots had deep leaves on them, no one seems to do anything. They have "WORKCAMPERS" BUT YOU WOULD NEVER KNOW IT. Oh, and the WOOD just down the road on the left (rt 441) is way to wet to burn. bring your own if you must stay here. We will not be back here. Worst State Park we have been to. They have 30 amp only, but you can plug in with the 50 amp or 30 amp cord.

Cindy

For Dogwood Loop - O Leno State Park: We stayed here for a little over a week in January 2017. This wasn't a horrible park, but it definitely wasn't our favorite either. The roads are just dirt and washed out in a lot of places. The dump station is at the other campground in the park so it's quite a ways away (about a mile away). We had a REALLY hard time getting our 30 foot travel trailer in our site (#49). The trees make it very hard. We finally had to turn around and head in the wrong direction to get the right angle to back in.

It is a beautiful campground with nice, friendly staff and relatively quiet. Rates are reasonable. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Nearest laundry is Gainesville. Cell service was ok, but not great.

Ncroadtreker

For Dogwood Loop - O Leno State Park: Another great Florida State Campground. Restrooms aren't heated but they do have heat lamps in the shower area.

Honeymooners

For Dogwood Loop - O Leno State Park: Stayed for one night this week at this delightful state park. We stayed in a 40' Motorhome in site 22-a pull-thru. Had many other sites that would fit us. Beautiful campground under the "moss-draped grand-father live oak trees". The bathrooms were very modern and immaculately clean. Only drawback to park was only 30amp. Water at site. Dump station easily assessed. Only about 5 miles West of I-75 at Exit 414. Going back this winter.
