Eric

For Rivers Edge RV Campground: Frankly, I do not understand the 4 and 5 star reviews. Yes, this RV park is cheap and I suppose the old saying “you get what you pay for” applies. We stayed a week. The person who made the reservation for use said the site only had water and electric. Turns out it had a sewer connection but they didn’t want us to use it. Guess sewer is only for the full time residents living in the park. I probably wouldn’t have minded except the dump station was at the other end of the campground and the sewer connection was on a small hill. That was an ordeal to get the full portable tank up there to drain it. What a mess! It was frustrating. It did rain off and on and the dirt roads were like driving on the surface of the moon. Had to dodge huge potholes in our Mini Cooper. Nothing was done about it all week contrary to another post here. This is one that we definitely will bypass in the future.

For Rivers Edge RV Campground: Nice, quiet, older campground with very friendly people. We came in on a Sunday afternoon when the office was closed. Tonya came to the office and found us a site. No Interstate noise. Will definitely stay again.

Long city limits

For Rivers Edge RV Campground: Large pull through sites on sand. It rained and created havoc on the road in but they were out grading it first thing in the morning. Staff is friendly. Some full timers here but in a different section. Huge spaces. FHU $15 a night with PA. Lots of trees and a short walk to yellow river where you can fish from the bank. Also a boat ramp with access to the river. Really peaceful rustic campground. Didn't check out the bathrooms. Free coffee every morning in the club house. Will stay again if in this area and would recommend.

Gary

For Rivers Edge RV Campground: Easy to get to and price was only $15 with Passport America. Interior roads are paved and wide and the sites are level and large enough. There's lots of trees so satellite television will be iffy. The only drawback is the sand/dirt parking places which would be a problem during a rain.

Linda

For Rivers Edge RV Campground: This was our second time to stay just overnight from travel on I-10, it's been 1 1/2 years. Lovely staff, I would call ahead for an overnight stay as their designated overnight stay sites have permonant residents now. They were able to accommodate our 39 ft with tow in a pull thru large enough to not have to unhitch. Shaded and pretty park.
