For Hanna City Park Campground: Really cool campground that makes you feel like you're in a jungle. The place is big and was PACKED Veterans Day weekend 2018 with almost exclusively weekenders looking to tailgate for the Gators game. There is access to the beach within the camp and several hiking/biking trails. Negatives were the reservation system was a mess and no one answers the phone, and the road inside the campground is a bit maze-like with hard to see around curves. There's no real rhyme or reason to the flow of traffic and if you make an ill-advised turn you might get stuck so scout your route. Also, there's a code to get into the grounds but to enter the number if you're driving anything other than a sedan you need to open your car door to reach it as it's about 4 feet off the ground.

For Hanna City Park Campground: Very large campground with lots to do. We didn’t get to explore very much as we only spent the night. Each campsite is very green i.e. lots of trees and can feel private even though the next camper and campsite is only a few feet away. Office staff were friendly and helpful but clearly busy. They nicely held a visitor pass for my cousin, but they forgot to tell us about the code to get into the campgrounds. Which caused a little stress and drama on the narrow narrow roads with a pile up behind us. It was a Saturday and the office suggested that we park outside for awhile as the campgrounds were congested. We didn’t do that but we were mostly fine. We missed our aisle as we didn't think it could possibly be the road (!) and had some reverse work to do! When you depart the campgrounds you have to be sure that another rv is not coming the other way as there is no real loop system and both directions operate on the same one lane narrow road.

For Hanna City Park Campground: Outstanding campground
Great bike trails walking trails .
The beach is fantastic you can walk there from your campsite my favorite thing about this beach - You can ride your bike on it. You can rent bikes along with kayaks here . My only complaint about this campground is the bathrooms were dirty.

For Hanna City Park Campground: Second time staying here, and we still give this one a full five stars - very rare for us to do so, because we reserve fives for the very best. This is the quintessential Florida natural experience, quiet and pleasant with lots of room around every site. Huge oak, palm, and pine trees with palmetto scrub underneath. Walking trails all over the place. Flocks of great white herons and anhingas on the quiet interior lake. Roads are narrow, winding through the trees, but with reasonable care presented no problem for our 40' MH with tow. Sites vary in size; reservation system is accurate to let you know where you can fit; we had no trouble with our site. Utilities are convenient, most sites are flat enough to level the RV. Check-in desk is friendly and so are the night guards, but it is best to check in during the working hours. After hours, entry to the park is by a printed pass they give you, and entrance to the RV campground is by a keypad code.

For Hanna City Park Campground: Stayed in site #4. Sites and roads are really tight! Our site had a wee bit more room. We have a 31ft RV and had no issues backing it in. However, site is not very level and the firepit/grill is in the very rear of site. We also enjoyed that the site was private, no one on either side. There were some tent campers further down the road but you have to step out to the road to see their site. The beach was beautiful, we will return soon!

For Hanna City Park Campground: This is a great campground with decent amenities and wonderful surroundings - only a few minutes walk to the beach! For me it was a great find as the only site I could get last minute in all of coastal FL and GA during the busy "spring break season" (mid-March to mid-April). Online reservations worked well. The campground is shady most of the day and even the tent-only sites had water and electric hookups. If you are tenting, avoid sites 5 & 6 - they are small and open and have security lights from the entrance blazing into them. The others looked nice. Next time, I'd bring a bike to try their mountain bike trails!

For Hanna City Park Campground: I waited until this morning to post, because I did want to get rid of some of the anger before posting. Last weekend I stayed at the camp ground of Hannah Park in Jacksonville Florida. I will NEVER go there again. When I made reservations I informed the person on the phone that I would have a hard time getting to the site before 9:00pm. She stated " not a problem, the guard will be at the gate until midnight, and she would inform him of my late arrival". When I drove up to the gate, he stated that I was late tather rudely, and that I was lucky he was going to let me in. This man chewed me out up one side and down the other. there are many camp sights there maybe 300. he said just go down one road past the stop sign and turn right. No one to show me where it was. The camp roads were so small almost every tree has marks where somone had hit them. and I had to manuver my rig throught them. when I found my spot it was too hard in the dark to manuver into it with 3 men trying to help. The camp host put me in another spot overnight.
The next moring I went to check in, and was informed that I had to move. another breakdown and set up. with lots of help and in the daylight, it took quite some time to get it in the spot that was designated mine. wedged between trees and trhe power pole but I was in it. Hooked up and started turning things on again, the A/C not working and about half te trailor not working. I was flipping curcuit breakers and replkacing fuses (more aggrivation) After calling camping world, I was informed tht it sounded like it was a lack of power from the pole. I went to the office and they sent someone to check it and found that the pole was only supplying half power. They siad I could unhook, and find another spot. I informed them if I hook up agian, I would be leaving. I was informed that they do not give refunds, and have a nice day

.
NEVER again, there is more but that is enough for now.
