For The Old Pavilion RV Park: Miss Lynn (the owner) is the sweetest! This little gem on the quiet “Forgotten Coast” is perfect for some peace & quiet away from people, noise, traffic, etc. The park is not much more than a gravel parking lot (some landscaping is sorely needed!), but the view makes it all worthwhile. Although there are no permies here, there are many trailers parked permanently that the owners come stay in from time to time. Miss Lynn would be wise to put those in the back, and let the travelers have the good spots on the water- she would make more money. As it is, only about 10 spots out of 40 total are for travelers. It’s a shame, as I was in the back for a two-week stay, with no view of the water, while empty trailers were up front. I stayed in a 35-ft Class A with no issues on space; parking is all back-in but easily navigated. Spots are snug but ok. Room for small toad in front of your site. There is no longer a bath house (hurricane wiped it out), but there is a boat ramp at the back where you can launch your boat or kayak. Down the street is a cute little beach, park, and pier. The sunsets here are indeed amazing. There are no stores or restaurants here, but Steinhatchee is 20 minutes away. Great bird-watching and nature. I will definitely be back.

For The Old Pavilion RV Park: Any less than 5 stars is a mistake. What a phenomenal view. Wish we could have stayed more than 1 night but we will be back. Beautiful Keaton Beach and tge pier are three blocks south, grocery/gas station is 3 blocks north, Steinhatchee is 20 minutes Southeast, Best view of the gulf in FLA. could easily double rates and pack the place. Cash or check only.

For The Old Pavilion RV Park: We stayed 3 nights here. Like everyone was saying owner Lynn has been running this for over 38 years. In 2016 the hurricane wiped it out and she rebuilt it. It has a fishing pier that I caught many fish on. Also at night people go out to the pier to watch the sunset on the Gulf of Mexico.it was beautiful! Sites are close together. Water pressure was good, sewer hookups good, no cable, internet worked okay in the night but during the day did not work well. It seems the band width in that area is low. Electric hookups 50,30,20. No beach area but it does have easy access to Gulf water. Overall very friendly and easy in and out. Very relaxing not loud at night. Mostly seems like people around go out fishing. About 1/2 the park are campers that the owner come and go. Our unit is a 38’ travel trailer with 3 slides and it was easy to maneuver to get into campsite. Dog friendly and cash or check worked well. Would definitely return especially with relaxed atmosphere.

For The Old Pavilion RV Park: Stayed two nights in 36 foot 5th wheel. Stayed on the water. Great sunset. Full hook up 35$/night. No showers or bathrooms. Owner very nice. Not for big rigs. WiFi iffy, no cable, antenna in RV worked good. All backin sites and gravel. Would stay again for two nights. Twenty five miles to small-town. Does have fuel station near by.

For The Old Pavilion RV Park: A truly lovely RV park with an equally lovely owner - Lynn - who has been here for over 30 years. Spectacular views of the Gulf, very pet friendly, such reasonable rates ($35/night for a waterfront site). Other campers were all so friendly. We also rode 5 miles north on our bikes to Dekle Beach. Nice general store just up the road. Will be here again! (Cash or check only)

JM

For The Old Pavilion RV Park: We planned to stay for two days and loved this place so much we stayed for 5! Beautiful views of the gulf and our spot was just steps from the water. Cute little beach down the road. Nice park and bike trail next down the road as well. Owner was super sweet! No shower house or facilities due to hurricane and lots of empty campers here - owner said that many keep their units here year round. We enjoyed a quiet week and saw a few more people on the weekend. Beautiful place! $20 per night with passport America.

For The Old Pavilion RV Park: 40 sites in a small area so are close together. Park is right on gulf so great sunset's if you are on the gulf row. Rustic bath house with one shower on the men's side. I was here in Jan. 2016 for 5 days. Owner has been here for 30 years and is quite friendly. Site was 20 dollars per night. Although most of the sites were occupied not many people actually present. Obviously fishing very popular in area. Easy access for kayaks and plenty of places to paddle in area. Town about 20 miles away. Wi-Fi better than most places I have been too. I would come back. Owner will accept checks but not credit cards. Best to call in advance.
