For Long Point Park: My first stay in a county park. WHAT A GEM !!! A fishing and boaters haven. Most sites along the water have it's own access to the water. I was in site #7 and it had a cement landing. Not sure if that is true or necessary for all sites, but WOW ! Grounds were clean and well manicured. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked. Although I was there during mid-week (end of Feb), the campground was FULL. During the day, the staff regularly drives around in a golf cart and are very helpful - great advice on restaurants (check out the Blueberry Muffin for breakfast) Fish and bait shops within a mile of the campground. Public Beaches were nice and also within a mile or two of the campground. If you get a site on the water with an open sandy beach area, you are set. The only "negative" is the sites along the water are VERY close to each other. The sites not on the water are larger. Saw all sizes of rigs. The campground road is paved and VERY wide. Definitely coming back !!

For Long Point Park: We were here for 2 days on a weekend in our 23-ft travel trailer. Campground was quite full but peaceful and very quiet at night. Lots of fishing and kayaking.our site had its own access for a kayak! Staff very welcoming and helpful. Everyone was very friendly and many with dogs, all leashed and well behaved. Met a few folks who stay Nov to April but sounds like rules are changing and max stay will be 90 days. A nice Publix is about 10 miles away. We did not use restrooms so can’t comment. Campground was very clean. Site dimensions are painted on road and how you place your rig is up to you as long as you’re within the site marks. We were at site 42 and parked at an angle with water and electric access requiring us to run everything under the trailer. Worked out fine and there was adequate room for our truck. Only negative was the no-see-ums! Evidently they’re worse than usual. Not the campground’s fault but it did affect our experience there. Bring and use the right repellent !

For Long Point Park: Love my water view! Haven’t visited the restrooms. 3 bars AT&T and Verizon. A TON of OTA stations. Love watching the SUP, Kayaks and boats. Scout Island is a nice shady walk.

For Long Point Park: Great location, not so great park. Pro: ample fishing and water sports opportunities Con: horrible facilities, not maintained…many sites flood and many others are damaged from recent hurricanes.

For Long Point Park: This is really a gem I love the campground location it's a Great place to go kayaking, and fishing.
The bathrooms were dirty and never cleaned the 4 days we stayed.
Thankfully I have a bathroom in my RV

For Long Point Park: Stayed for 2 weeks. Bathroom facilities are extremely poor( there are two..one is newer than other). The grounds are not maintained and the dump area is not fenced off so if you are placed near the dump, that's all you see all day long. Ugh...

For Long Point Park: the place is really great.....less bugs here than at the state park across the inlet[they are terrible there.
Only thing I will remind everyone is do NOT leave fishing rods out anywhere in view....as in waterfront campgrounds everywhere they are easily stolen....and it happens regularly.
