For KOA Journey Titusville Kennedy Space Center: I reviiewed this on Nov. 2021 and gave it two stars. Since then, it’s much improved, with many paved sites. Staff was accommodating, rates are reasonable, still lovely old oaks. It’s close to a four, but not quite. BTW, there/s a big Love’s and a Dollar General just outside the front gate, so you can grab what you need.

For KOA Journey Titusville Kennedy Space Center: This place is a mess! They are constantly moving campers from site to site! It’s very old and outdated! One of the maintenance workers wanted to have a physical fight, when I asked why the water was shut off with now warning! This guy literally corned me and wanted to fight due to me telling them it was nice to give everyone a heads up! The price is very expensive . Sites are very cramped. Not unkept at all! The laundry will be randomly closed with childish written notes saying closed. What asked if it will be open, you are told it will open when it does and to deal with it! Customer service is non existent. Most employees are rude! Avoid this place at all cost!

For KOA Journey Titusville Kennedy Space Center: Campground was level. Staff was polite, courteous and helpful. Toilets and showers were clean. Laundry facilities were clean and functional. Pool facilites were clean. There were some renovations going on during the day time which was acceptable. I am all for improvements. Lanes are narrow for big rigs. Conveniently close to highway 95 with consequence of being noisy some times.

For KOA Journey Titusville Kennedy Space Center: We finally left the Kennedy KOA fl. For those of you that got let down by the price change experience I feel your pain. We too were surprised by the lack of integrity when we found out WAY to late that our, IN WRITING, reservation was worthless. We made reservations and paid a deposit in May 2021 for a 3 month winter stay. The price was 750-750-450. The new price after we arrived was 1200-1200-1200. We were told "Don't like it, then move on" Thank you Cape Kennedy Resort LLC for that new policy. The owners whose office is in Boca Raton fl. won't honor a promise made to there customers

For KOA Journey Titusville Kennedy Space Center: There are KOAs and there are KOAs, and I really wish that KOA did a better job of monitoring what they put their name on. This one is marginal, at best. Good setting under the moss covered trees, close to I95, but junky in appearance. Many of the sites are unfinished with no gravel or pavement, although they are level for the most part. It’s a third rate park. We’d stay again for the proximity to the interstate, but only if it was all that were available.

For KOA Journey Titusville Kennedy Space Center: First, let me say that my wife and I have been traveling full time in a motorhome for five years and we have stayed in over 100 RV campsites (mainly KOA) literally all across the country and our experience with this KOA is the worse. We hold VIP rating with KOA. We were scheduled to stay here for three months and after two months we had enough. Let me try to explain why: When you arrive at this KOA you immediately find several large pot holes and crumbling asphalt in front of the entrance. This tells me the management here is not keeping up with basic maintenance. We were there for two months and there was no attempt to fill In these pot holes. Our first impression was not good. Next, they took us to a site that had large soft dirt areas that were positioned under our motorhome back wheels. This site was not suitable for a heavy “Class A “ motorhomes due the possibility of getting stuck. Luckily, during our stay we did not have heavy rain. If that occurred while we were there this site would have been a huge mud-hole under our rig. I mentioned this to management when we arrived and they said they would try to relocate to another site, this never happened despite the fact there were several fully concreted sites right across from us. If we had not placed plastic runners under our back tires when we first arrived we would have had a problem leaving the site. Apparently we were being penalized for our intention to stay long term. During our stay, to my knowledge, no one from the front office came out to inspect our site or discuss the potential problems with us. Their action or lack of it tells me that park management has a problem. next, The sites are very close together and the roads are very narrow. If you have two motorhome coming in opposite direction on most roads there is a problem. (all roads are two way). This situation happened to us when we’re leaving the park. I saw several motorhome and fifth wheels struggling to leave their sites due to tight turns. Next, the roads in the park are a mess due to poor maintenance. When it rains water stands in low points for days. Next, if you like screaming kids running up and down the narrow roads all during the day and night you will love this place. I understand that there is no age restrictions at this park but it is very annoying having kids running through your site. This was a problem that was consistence throughout our stay. Next, the guy next door to me had his black tank hose cut in two by a park employee using a weed eater. Next, we paid by the month so after the first month we went in to pay for another month and we had to return three times because the ladies at the front desk could not figure out how to accept our payment. Next, when we left we stopped to get propane and the tree right above the propane tank had a low tree limb that scratched the paint on our rig. Next, when we left there were no “Glad to have you” “Did you have a good visit”.... nothing! If they had bothered to look, they would have discovered that we were leaving a month early. These are all signs of poor management. If these problems are not bad enough, the biggest problem with this park is their apparent total disregard for the people and equipment they allow into the park. Old run down RV’s are parked everywhere, old cars and clutter are in plain sight. There are people actually living long term in tents. Every type of RV contraption Including school buses, old run down motorhome fifth wheels and all types of home made trailers to include a guy who thinks he is a “Gypsy” living in a home built gypsy style trailer. To this end, while we were there our car was broken into overnight with items being stolen. When I brought this to the attention of the management they could care less. Their response, call the police. They indicated that they were aware of cars being vandalized. You would think that management would notify guests in the park about this problem and to keep their car doors locked. To my knowledge this never happened. During our five years of travel we have not had anything stolen until we arrived at this park. On the night of the Super Bowl there were several what sounded like shot gun blasts that disrupted our section of the park. Again, management was totally unconcerned, they said it was fire works. This was not traditional fireworks. Their attitude, call the police. If management was doing their job there would be no need to call the police as you would check out the problem and take care of it. In my opinion this KOA is not safe and is run down due to a lack of concern from management. My recommendation is to stay away from this facility as there are several other RV parks in the area. I am very surprised that a KOA would allow this park to stay in business under the KOA flag. I hope this is not a trend in KOA campgrounds, if it is, we will be taking our business elsewhere!

For KOA Journey Titusville Kennedy Space Center: First let me say how much I love the setting for this park. Big trees covered with Spanish Moss, lot of grass and vegetation. Campsites for visitors are level and concrete. Hook ups are placed for easy of use. Although streets are narrow I had no problem maneuvering my 37 ‘ 5th wheel. Staff are friendly and very helpful. On the downside, park is old and tired looking. 70% of the park is taken up by full time residents in old tired trailers. There is a lot of junk and trash around these trailers. Price is reasonable I would stay here again
