For Oak Grove Park and Cottages: Sand burs everywhere made it impossible to safely walk our dogs. We spent hours pulling them out of fur. The “dog run” was the worst. Laundry was adequate but dated and change machine and soap didn’t work. Great camp host. Sites on spacious concrete pads.

For Oak Grove Park and Cottages: Our visit was overshadowed by being unable to walk our dogs in the campground without them picking up goat heads everywhere in their fur. The “dog run” was the worst place and they picked up so many sharp nasty things in their fur that we spent hours getting them out and yes they stayed on the trail on leash. Even walking them on the crushed rock and asphalt was subject to the things. Camp host Grace was great. Laundry was mediocre with old machines, small capacities, the change machine and laundry soap machine didn’t work. We visited the museum which was great but wanted to get out AsaP because our dogs and we were fed up with the dog unfriendly vegetation. Concrete pads were spacious. The happy hour lounge was not appealing and run down.

For Oak Grove Park and Cottages: Stayed 4 nights. Pleasant and helpful staff. Large concrete pad. No fire pit. Easy access to beautiful quiet beach. Lucky enough to see Blue Angels practice. Museum and lighthouse within walking distance and well worth your time. Bathrooms spotless. Great location. Would love to go back.

For Oak Grove Park and Cottages: Great level sites with padding only steps from a white sandy beach! Friendly staff and easy access!

For Oak Grove Park and Cottages: Clean park. Close to hiking, biking and beach (all within walking distance). Walmart and Target nearby. Clean laundry room with change machine. The only complaint is that they won’t allow you to keep your trailer on the pad even though there is plenty of room. We have a 24 foot motor home and a 14 ft trailer so we were small compared to the bi rigs there. We keep our motorcycle and bikes in the trailer (our only other means to get around). So we had to unload everything at our site and reload our stuff over at the trailer storage site when it rained. The policy doesn’t make sense or seem fair when everyone else has a huge rig and one to two other vehicles parked on their site. Being able to keep the trailer on our pad would not only make it more convenient but also would keep our site looking tidy.

For Oak Grove Park and Cottages: My wife and I stayed at this RV park Aug 6-8. We planned a weekend trip. Park was very nice and shaded. Sites were level and very large. They had cable and WiFi. We used the WiFi and it worked very well. We didn’t use the bathhouse or laundry facilities. Easy access to the beach. Beach was very nice and private. We spent most of the day there. We also went to the National Aviation Museum. The camp host Lou Ann was fantastic. We checked in after hours. She made sure we got to our site and provide direction to other things to do around the air station. We really enjoyed ourselves and will be back. Thanks.

For Oak Grove Park and Cottages: One of the best parks we have stayed in, the office staff worked with us to extend our stay, the camp hosts were great help make sure we knew where everything was located off and on base, we will stay here again when we come back this way! Beautiful beach, if I have anything negative to say, nope I don’t stay here you will not regret it!!!
