For Playa Del Rio RV Park: Very pricey, but it is very clean and the hosts are exceptionally friendly. The boardwalk to the beach is right across the road and is owned by playa del rio. The waterfront/dockside bar area is really great to sit at on a rainy day or to watch the sunset. It is about 1/2 mile from the florabama bars and restaurants, too. Be sure to take a threaded sewer pipe end because the local government does not allow straight donut gaskets. Also, there is no bath house here so you will be showering etc out of your rv.

For Playa Del Rio RV Park: I agree this park is expensive, but having visited I can tell you the amenities are second to none. You don't stay in your camper here, but use the amazing amenities. They include what appeared to be at least 150 feet of U shaped fishing dock on the bay, hammock island ( a grouping of several hammocks on green grass). Numerous groupings of Cairo's, tables and chairs, a full size kitchen with full size appliances, table and chairs open to all, numerous grills - take your pick. Look at the map, it is s very short walk across the road to their designated beach access. Yes, the spaces are tight (they offer to park it for you). Other parking is non existent, but I've been in love with it since the first look. I've been told the sunsets are fabulous. Did I say this outdoor space is right on the bay? It is! Just wish it could be less expensive.

For Playa Del Rio RV Park: Called for reservation and they quoted $109 per night. Please don't pay this for a spot. It allows parks to inflate prices to the point that know one will be able to afford to camp. Do the math people, payment, depreciation, fuel and other costs associated with owning an RV make this not even competitive with a resort. Again please help stop this trend that of over charging for RV parks. Thank you.

For Playa Del Rio RV Park: Clean park. Great location. Clean bath house.
Will not stay here again however because spaces very tight. Too many cars. One way in and out. Not enough room to to turn around. Spaces too short.
