For Vortex Spring: Very poorly run and managed facility. Check in was caos, electric unreliable, patrons rude and obnoxious, facilities filthy and poorly maintained, bathrooms closed for a good part of stay, dump station was being used extensively by campground personnel at checkout time after three day holiday weekend. A great deal of unfulfilled potential.

For Vortex Spring: I called ahead to inquire about the cost of camping and was quoted 32.00 per night seems that is the cost for a vacant camper add 10.00 per night per person and the cost escalates to 52.00 per night. The extra 10.00 per person is to use the swim holes which are 2/3's closed. Bathrooms suck. Sand everywhere fireworks going off late at night non working dump station. Just to sum up this place is a poophole. Stay clear
