For Ocean Grove RV Resort: Very disappointing stay. Pool, hot tub and cafe are all
Closed. These were a major draw for our 4th visit here. Furthermore, the cable has been converted to Direct TV, which is dependent on their NON WORKING WIFI! We come each year for a month, and this year will be our last. Got no advance notice, but charged more than ever. Don’t waste your time

For Ocean Grove RV Resort: We have stayed here regularly for years. Unfortunately I have a couple of issues which need to be addressed. First, when we arrived we were told the pool and hot tub were being resurfaced, and they would reopen within the week. Work seems to have stopped and the pool and hot tub remain closed, drained and not resurfaced. It has been 2 weeks (of our 4 week stay), with no sign it will reopen. The bar/restaurant adjacent have also been closed during that time. I also discovered that the tv cable has been switched to dish network, AND IT DOES NOT WORK! I asked about the wifi and was simply told that the park was too crowded, and the network too busy. Unacceptable! If your amenities are lousy, don’t advertise with them. Before reserving here, please call and confirm they have addressed these problems.

For Ocean Grove RV Resort: Overall, this was a nice campground in a really good location. There are pros and cons to consider if staying here. Pros- most of the sites are paved and are very clean. The location on the marsh is nice, with lovely sunsets and peaceful views. The patios and dock areas are very nice. The drive into historic Saint Augustine is a short one, and the beaches across the street are beautiful. There are good restaurants within walking distance. The trees in the front end are beautiful, but can create parking issues for your rig. The back end of the campground is full sun, which is great in the winter, but hot in the summer. Cons - Many of the sites are difficult to back into or pull into due to very tight roads. While sites are long and deep, the turn radius on most are very sharp. If you are not comfortable with tight parking or maneuvering your rig various ways, make sure to lock reserve one of the few angled pull through sites. The bathrooms have been redone, but were dirty the whole six days we were there. Mold has not been cleaned away, and whoever mops simply swirls the hairballs further into the corners. This is labeled as a resort campground, but it is not a resort. It is an overall nice but expensive campground. we will return if we can lock one of the less difficult to access sites.

For Ocean Grove RV Resort: Stayed 1 week. Rate for “premium paver site” plus site lock fee plus transaction fees equated to $85/night. We don’t use “amenities” like showerhouse, pools and outdoor game areas, etc so not worth it for us. Picked it for convenient location. Gated; felt secure. Staff were nice. Roads narrow and one lane. Mix of park models and RVs. Could be more challenging for 25’+ rigs to back in if neighbors across street have cars/trucks at end of their sites. Our site was L-shaped and on a corner so it felt more spacious (H104). Many pull thrus and back ins just had maybe 6-10 feet between them. Some had decorative fences or shrubs making it hard to walk around slides. Some long sites though. Pavers were nice; site was almost level. Hookups often in middle of site. Sulphur/sewer smell outside many of the days; I think it’s just the general area, not the park’s problem. Fellow campers leave laundry in machines too long. Tried the wi-fi multiple days, multiple devices; it connected but never worked. AT&T service was good not great; occasional slowdowns. Quiet at night aside from squawking birds. We were in 27’ trailer with 22’ truck. Had room for another vehicle.

For Ocean Grove RV Resort: Very nice park with wide paver sites, big rig friendly. Excellent maintenance crews. Wi Fi intermittent, utilities very good. Nice pool close to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

For Ocean Grove RV Resort: Park was just ok nothing special, however sites were very tight. I wouldn't pull in there with anything over 40 feet. We did and we had a lot of trouble maneuvering.

For Ocean Grove RV Resort: Rates are "subject to change"! I get a few dollars, but $300 for a month visit. No way ? . And we have paid reservations.
