For St George Island State Park: Nice site big enough for our 38 ft fifth wheel. Loved the beach within walking distance. Only complaint was the long drive to to campground and slow speed for sand dunes no residence along that part so need to increase. Would recommend making reservations early or get on notify list.

For St George Island State Park: We stayed 5 nights in site 50. Fairly level- gravel site. Nice amount of trees/ bushes between campsites for privacy. Camp hosts friendly. Showers/ bathroom in pretty good shape but I didn’t use the shower. We enjoyed hiking the trails and watching the sunset from the end of the interpretive trail one evening. It was gorgeous. The beaches are amazing white sand, not far from camp and in early nov there were only a handful of people on the beach all day. We would definitely stay here again.

For St George Island State Park: We love this campground, we were in Site 41, most of the sites looked pretty decent size! Water and electric only with dump station on the way out. Didn’t need the bathhouses but looked nice. Dog friendly on the trails but not the beach! Nestled between the Bay and the Gulf, it was perfect - easy walk to the beach! But you can hear the ocean from the campground, loved that! Only down side was internet, weak signal and we work from the road, quick drive to the main road or into town and problem solved!

For St George Island State Park: MOSQUITOES!!!! This is a really beautiful campsite but holy moly the mosquitoes are horrendous. Apparently they spray twice a week, but it must be mosquito enhancer because these monsters are beefy. We left after one day because every time we opened our car door there were 100 flying inside, and we were trapped in our camper. I gave it a 4/5 stars because the everything else was awesome. There was a mixup with our site and it was double booked and the camp host went out of his way to help us. He even mowed down the grass in our new site so we were more comfortable. The rangers were all so friendly and helpful too. Too bad the pests are so pesky and we are big babies.

For St George Island State Park: What a great campground! Sandwiched between the gulf beaches and the bay you get to choose the calm waters of the bay or the crashing waves on the gulf beach to relax in. The facilities are still not back to 100% following last years hurricanes. WiFi is non existent and cell data was weak with my Verizon plan. Mosquitoes are problematic early and late so be prepared. Breezes during the day generally keep them at the small nuisance level. One of our favorite campgrounds we have ever stayed at nd we get around. Another place we fully intend to return to.

For St George Island State Park: Stayed in this state park for 4 nights. We came in on the first day the campground reopened after hurricane Michael. The park is beautiful the campground is quiet, beautiful, and very clean. We enjoyed walking on the clean beaches and the beautiful white sand. We even caught a glimpse of the resident alligator! ❤️

For St George Island State Park: As others have stated, a great CG close to the beach with many trails. Very clean and well maintained. Great beach. We stayed several days and had to stay in our MH most of the time due to mosquitoes. It is still a 5 Star site. I would recommend winter camping.
