Reggie

For Sun Outdoors Sugarloaf Key: Well the pictures are misleading, a Dirty RV park. Lots of junkie permanent Rvs. Pool was dirty never seen anyone ever clean it. Clubhouse was dirty. Layer of dust from their sewer construction is on everything including our clean RV.no security .Bathrooms old with only screen doors on them, can’t lock ,not very secure for my wife taking a shower.Expensive and crappy , will never be back. Gas leak in the dryers . Perception is reality . At only $115 night plus electric !!

For Sun Outdoors Sugarloaf Key: If you like tight cozy spaces and bugs this is the place for you. Located next to the lake on one side and a swampy lagoon on the other. The marketing images of the park are the only thing nice there. Big rigs stay away, you'll probably be able to get into your spot with a lot of juggling back and forth but you'll most likely hit a bunch of branches in the process. One try and we were out of there. Cost was higher than most too with all their add one like electric fee, taxes and Adonis hotel surcharges that we didn't encounter elsewhere. Try Boyd's or El Mar nearer Key West much better alternatives.

For Sun Outdoors Sugarloaf Key: We were very pleased with Lazy Lakes RV Park. It was in season, so we paid $100 per night for our site but found that this was an average price for the keys this time of year.
The campground was clean and well maintained. The location is fantastic for exploring the keys. Laundry facilities, bathhouse, pool were all nice.
For a deposit you are provided a receiver to connect to the satellite television service.

I would recommend this campground and hope to return to it someday!

Esther

For Sun Outdoors Sugarloaf Key: Great spot, very quiet! Most sites have view of the lakes. About 30 min drive to Key West and Bahia Honda State Park. Key West bus service closeby, as well as Heritage bike trail. Very friendly and accommodating owners, friendly and quiet seasonals. Clean showers and lots of hot water. Would stay there again! Much quieter than Boyd's in Key West.

Madam Captain Hippop

For Sun Outdoors Sugarloaf Key: Friendly people. Many seasonals here and access is tight for big rigs. Be careful as a couple of turns are really bad and best to just avoid.
