For Spanish Main RV Resort: Bad experience. When I called Sun Resorts to make a reservation I was told that in season this park only rents by the month. The very nice woman checked with the park and was allowed to give us a site for a week. We were going to the RV Super Show and most places were booked solid, so we were happy to get this site. Unfortunately the previous reviews were accurate. Roads are narrow and tight. The heated pool wasn’t heated. The WiFi only works in the club house/small room. No cable and reception is iffy. We had a dirt/sand site and it did rain one night but we were leaving that morning anyway. The residents are mostly full time. Some full time places were in good shape, but there are quite a few that are very run down with junk laying around and under their rigs/ trailers. Some of these residents are shady at best. Others were friendly. There’s no one in the office on Sunday so Saturday night sounded like a big outside free for all party. Lots of people milling around to late in the night (2AM). The upside is that the entrance was being graded and paved. The buildings were all being painted. A new white fence was installed. The trees had been cut back somewhat but that might be due to a hurricane. They were pouring new concrete pads and it looks like up grades are being made. I would not have been so disappointed if this were not a Sun Resort. I hope it was recently purchased and Sun is making this place better. If you go here lock your stuff up. We won’t be back.

For Spanish Main RV Resort: The staff was friendly but the interior roads are risky. The roads are paved but crooked and narrow with parked cars and trees making it a gauntlet. With guidance from a friend and a resident, we got through with no damage to our motorhome. The site was back-in dirt/sand and I'm very thankful it didn't rain or we'd have been in a mud hole. Your satellite will probably be blocked by the huge trees. The park is a mixture of snow birds and dope heads with car and foot traffic all night long. We won't risk this place again.

For Spanish Main RV Resort: Office and club house ok, but the rest of the park is run down. Mostly residents in mobile homes that are poorly maintained. Very narrow streets. Won't be back. Not big rig friendly
