For Hart Springs: Just stayed here 3 days. Very nice campground but flooding kept us from the actual springs area. We had planned on some water time, but mo way. Better check before you come to make sure flooding hasn’t closed the park. As for the campground, very nice, level, sewer hookup and quiet. Didn’t go to the pool but it looked nice.

For Hart Springs: Well, a hidden gem as far as I'm concerned! Marie and Jerry are great campground hosts and do everything to accommodate its campers. Laundry is fabulous, rest rooms are always clean. Never full - how can that be for $340 a month? So quiet... big sites, water, sewer and electric. Trails and roads to walk and hike. Hart Springs to see manatees and swim. Verizon cellular works here but data is very slow. They are adding wifi in a week or two.

I can't recommend this enough! It is never full! Paved road back to campground and the campground "circle" is also paved. Very pet friendly! One of my favorite campgrounds. Go into Trenton and eat at Hobo's for some good food. Close to grocery stores in Trenton and Chiefland. Need firewood? Get it on CR 349 near Old Town Campground. It's visible from CR 349 and cheap! Want oysters? Go to Cedar Key and get 50 for $17 at Southern Cross Sea Farms. Don't forget Tony's Restaurant in Cedar Key for great seafood and their clam chowder!

Kayaking at Hart Springs. Also can kayak on Suwannee River. Boat launch within a mile or so from campground. No dogs allowed in the actual Hart Springs, probably only draw back I can think of here. Allowed in campground just not in spring area.

If you get a chance, look at the stars at night - unbelievable! Also, they do sponsor a bring a dish cookout and they provide the main food. Little jam session was excellent....

For Hart Springs: Quiet park. Lots of sites were available for us to pick.
