For Wildwood Park Columbia County Park: I stayed in area 1. About half the campsites here are on the hill around the bathhouse and half drop down onto a jetty. None of the sites are particularly level. I stayed on the jetty in site 9. My neighbor was straight piping (dumping his grey tank directly onto the ground) and I assume he knew the score because he just did it in the middle of the day in front of Heaven and everyone. I called and the camp host came by but he continued on the days after. Aside from that it was quiet and nice. I was directly on the water.

For Wildwood Park Columbia County Park: We stayed in October and found the campground quiet, really wide and long sites that easily accommodated our 27’ travel trailer & truck. Senior discount brought it down to $22. Apparently the park forests were affected by a pine beetle so they were logging the diseased trees which made some of the hiking trails non existent. Overall a nice stay!

For Wildwood Park Columbia County Park: Another view from the previous review. Totally different perspective. We had a wonderful overnight visit in our 19' Roadtrek van on March 14, 2016. The sites were clean, spacious, and the location was beautiful. The bathrooms were clean, functional, and convenient to our spot. Quiet and tranquil. Camp host came by and introduced herself and welcomed us and collected the fee. (Gate office was closed when we arrived just after 5pm). Nice park.

For Wildwood Park Columbia County Park: Worse experience camping ever. If you want to party all night and not worry about the posted rules this is the place to go. There are no posted sights for primitive camping so when you set up camp be prepared for the possibility of someone setting camp right on top of you. Also dogs are supposed to be on a leash but several dogs were not, which lead to my having to contain my dog in my truck for it and the other dogs safety. Alcoholic beverages are not allowed but that didn't stop the camp next to me. The site started at 10pm and at 830am they were still Drinking and being VERY loud and disrespectful. Of course I could've called the local law enforcement, given the fact they had already been here already for some guy beating his girl friend, but you would think the park would show a little interest by checking periodically to ensure some rules were being followed. With that said..just will never come back...will stick with coe properties.
