Always a great experience at Uchee Creek! This spot is the halfway point for us when we travel to see family so we stay for an overnight. They have always been able to accommodate us with a pull through site and they are so level, we don’t have to unhook or even chock the tires. After hours check-in is easy peasy and every spot has a fire ring and a bbq pit. The grounds are beautiful and kept in their natural state as much as possible. We’ve been here when it’s packed and when only a handful of travelers are here and it always feels like the serene, back-to-nature camping experience from when we were younger. There’s a big pool, several playgrounds, a laundry area and a dog park. Everything is kept tidy and feels easy to access. We haven’t stayed in a cabin here - we have an rv - but one of the maintenance men let me take a peek inside a cabin for future reference and it looked well appointed and even a little cozy. The only issue we had was the immense tree cover kept our starlink from connecting. We could have found a good spot for it had we been staying longer but we just enjoyed a night unplugged instead and really enjoyed it. Highly recommend!

Great FamCamp with secluded sites well spaced apart. No problem with FHU. The RV park is part of a campground with cabins and a marina. Large base with excellent facilities. PX and commissary a little far (11 miles) from the campground, but worth the trip and handy to the gas station and Class VI store. Bathroom/laundry facilities are older, but large and clean. Support staff, whom I dealt with by phone, was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Great little campground with excellent folks. Bryan the manager was extremely friendly and helpful. He gave us great info and helped us find info on additional sites we plan to visit even called the other park to verify info. Super clean facilities and close to Columbus downtown for great foodie sites.

The only thing keeping this from 5 starts is cell/wifi connection. Massive park just outside the rear gate of Ft Moore (Benning). Staff is really easy to work with and great about communication. Various types of sites to accommodate any set up. All sites are paved. There is cable. There is WiFi but it is extrenely weak, even with a booster. They are aware and are actively updating their system and ask for feedback on your wifi experience. Multiple laundry rooms on site. Boat rentals for the river on site. It is secluded and not much is convenient other than base, which does have a new restaurant, Lucy's, a large PX, and the best commissary we have experienced. This is, BY FAR, the nicest military campground we have ever seen and much nicer than a lot of private parks too. Tons of wild life, lots of deer. Great place for kids to roam freely. Nice pool area, numerous picnic areas, fishing from the dock on the river. Multiple cabin and houses to rent as well, book ahead as those book well in advance on holidays. It's an Army base, but there is a very active air stip and you will have daily flyovers for airborn training as well as helicpopters too. Drop field is just down the road and there is a viewing area. BY FAR the best RV option in the Columbus area. We travel in a ft toy hauler with 2 vehicle and a Harley. Sites in the 400s are massive and very private pull throughs.

Huge park with lots of amenities. Sites are large and fairly level. It rained the whole time we were there so it might influence this review. The bathrooms are similar to state park, but large. One of the Women’s restrooms needed to be cleaned. Paper towels on the ground, trash can overflowing, one commode stopped up. Much in need of doggie disposals. Had to hike a ways to the dumpster. Nice pool, but closed on Tuesdays for some reason. Base is HUGE.

This is a 5-star first class resort. Pool, Marina, playground, hiking trails, huge dog park, lovely and spacious wooded campsites and cabins. We loved sitting by the campfire and enjoying the Georgia spring weather. Easy to get on post and take advantage of all a major military installation has to offer. Calling for reservations was easy and we appreciated the email confirmation. You get a nice map with all the info you need when you check to enjoy a tremendous camping experience. Could only stay two nights but we’ve relished our time here.

Very nice campground. Bathrooms were clean with hot showers. Washers $2.00 per load, dryers 25 cents per 10 minutes. Nice spacious, wooded sites. We only stayed one night so didn’t get a chance to use the pool/splash pad. Only negative is WI-FI only had 1 bar.

Check in was smooth. You do not get to chose your site but are assigned a site. You truly cannot go wrong. There sre four areas, the 400 area being the newest, biggest, best option. We had full hookup, water, 30/50 amp, 120 volt, sewer, and cable TV. The Wifi system is being upgraded now for better, faster coverage. We had a significant storm, 1.5 inches of rain, in 5 hours and no flooding. There was standing water no it never concerned us. The pads in the 400 area are large, 70’ x 40’ of asphalt. The sitrs are in excess of 100’ apart. Nice place to stay and relax.

This place has it all. It is surrounded by trees. The spaces are far apart. Walking and running trails abound. And, Bonus, JETS - Go Air Force!! Yes, on the Army Post - lucky!! If you are able to use the military fam camps, this is definitely one of the best!
