For KOA Journey Forsyth: Stayed one night on cross country trip. Convenient off I-75 but way too much road noise for me. Sounded like trucks were right outside our bedroom. Roads are newly paved asphalt but sites are uneven...Place is built on a hill. Lots of trees and shade. WIFI and cable TV worked well, we streamed YouTubeTV. Did not use showers or laundry. Cookie delivery a nice touch. There is a lake with lots of geese, so look out for the goose****. Okay overall but I can’t get past the interstate noise. Will try elsewhere next time if in the area.

For KOA Journey Forsyth: We stayed 1 night in a 35 foot rv towing. We had a fairly level lt near the pond. The staff are very nice and we got fresh hot cookies delivered. Bathrooms were clean. This is an older park with lots of mature trees. Also the office will fix food...pizza, wings, etc. nice place to stay on our way north or south.

For KOA Journey Forsyth: Pros- right off of 75. Friendly staff. Cons- One of the only KOA’s that doesn't offer a military discount, that we have encountered. You can tell the owners got a little grip on the ole wallet because there hasn’t been any love given to this place in a while. unleveled sites, our 37 Ft class A had it’s front wheels off the ground. Gravel(ish) spots. Very muddy. Very tight spots. A little hard on the eyes. For sure folks in this campground call this place “home” permanently. The staff drive their KOA golf carts around the park like a bat out of he**. Watch your kids. Wouldn’t stay longer than a overnight. Good for a hook up and a dump if that’s worth 50 bucks to ya.

For KOA Journey Forsyth: We stayed here in a 45 foot Class A. This is a nice campground and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The checkin process was very fast. The sites are not very level but our rig was able to find level without problem. Water pressure was good and power quality was good. They have WiFi but we didn’t connect to it. We were given warm cookies on checkin and we thought that was very nice. We would stay here again for a nights stay. There is a little tight maneuvering but they do escort you to your site so that is very helpful. The upper part of the campground is in the trees and the lower half is open. If you want satellite service choose the lower half.

For KOA Journey Forsyth: New blacktop roads in the park. Delicious pizza. Complimentary large chocolate chip cookies. Staff is very helpful andd friendly. This is our second time here. A week apart.
Cons: no fire rings but we are just psss ing through. Several of the sites are very close together. Many trees so no satellite reception but has cable hookup.

For KOA Journey Forsyth: Stopped here overnight heading to Florida in mid-January 2018. The checkin was efficient and friendly. The park was built on a side hill, so most of the lots are uneven to say the least. Also, the road within the camp are not in good shape at all and very narrow. For pushing $40 off-season, I guess expected better maintenance. On the positive side, there were good hookups, so staying for a night worked out for us. I couldn't see staying there much longer.

For KOA Journey Forsyth: Good power, water pressure and sewer connections. Restrooms and laundry are OK. Smell of mold in the restrooms, but then it is the humid hot south. Staff is good. Campground is kept clean by the staff. Sites are tight, and may require a few extra blocks to level. Campground does have a lot of long term campers and gets very full on the summer weekend. Roads inside the campground are very bad, ruts, broken pavement, tree roots, tight turns (for a 40' with toad).

The park has lower part which is farther away from I75 and is quiet.

This KOA should be a cash cow, but they do need to plow a little back in to improve the pavement.
