For FD Roosevelt State Park: Mike and Cheryl here. We have a 44 foot Class A RV. Here is my review of the campground at F D Roosevelt SP. Getting to the campground was no problem. We took Hwy 27 most of the way to the campground. The roads in the campground are paved and gravel, and are in good condition. The trees seem to all be trimmed. The campground office was open and everyone was friendly. IMPORTANT, do not drive your large RV into the visitor center/guest registration office parking lot. It is not large enough. Go directly to your campsite first and then drive your car to the office. No escort to our site. The camp store is small located in the visitor center. Check in area is small and not meant for large RVs. The road signage to our site was good. Sites have fire pits and they sell firewood. Our site was 103, a pull thru site with a gravel slab, and picnic table. The view from our site looked over the lake. The campground has sunny and shaded sites. Our site was NOT level. It was no unlevel that we had to use every chock/block we own and it still was not level. The site was dry. The site was gravel. There are no seasonal folks. The bathhouse was ok. I did not see a laundry room. The pool was closed because it was too early in the season. The pool area looked nice. There is no rec room. There is no workout fitness room. There is no restaurant on site. The grounds looked nice with nice trees and views. There is no cable tv. There is no Wifi. Here is the bad. Site 103 is terrible. Very unlevel. Plus an old silt fence is still placed around the site. There are some good sites. I feel that 101, 102 are the best at the top of the campground. Sites 204, 200 and 301 are good sites but no sewer. I would come back. Dream Big, Travel Far, Live Well...

For FD Roosevelt State Park: This was a nice state park with fantastic hiking nearby. Our site was along the back edge, which we liked. It ended up being kind of a “buddy” site (we were 309, buddies with 308) in that our tables and fire rings were in a shared space. It worked fine, but we didn’t know that. The showers and bathhouse were cleaned regularly and there was cheap laundry.

For FD Roosevelt State Park: This park was under construction area 5 and 6. We had reservations for site 209 premium site with 59 amp. The rods leading to the site were extremely tight with significant drop offs on each side of the road. We were unable to access our site due to the narrow roads and a 2 1/2 foot drop off. They did not have another site so we were put in the pioneer section, 30 amp, 20lbs water pressure gravel/dirt road. We were camping in a 35 ft 5th wheel and a F450 truck. When this campground is completed it should be much easier to access sites with better power and water. Easy access to Callaway Gardens, nice trails, and a small lake.

For FD Roosevelt State Park: We stayed two nights to see Calloway Gardens Christmas Lights. The park staff were very nice and helpful. Our site in area 5 wasn’t level but not uncomfortable. However the circular road for our area was very narrow and would have been a nightmare had we arrived after dark in our 37 foot MH. Overall a very nice, quiet state park.

For FD Roosevelt State Park: Is our favorite SP in Georgia, have stayed many times: all good.

For FD Roosevelt State Park: Park is on a ridge, many trails to hike, fishing lake in campground. Gravel sites, mostly level, some quite tight, short, check your length. Bathhouses, laundries spaced well in loops. Playground. Plenty of shade.
