Nice park, but for this level of park - you’re paying RV Resort prices - I definitely expected better. First of all, be careful that you get a “good” site. We stayed in site 191 which was one of the best - good view and very spacious “front yard” for us. However, there are some sites that are very close together. So be careful what you get. It’s quiet and peaceful, in beautiful country. The lake to the west is perhaps 2 or 300 yards away from the park and on private property, which Pine Mt. puts out on their website. Nice grounds with green grass all around. Downsides - the only concrete on the sites is where your rig is parked - it’s no wider than that. And amazingly to me, despite the fact the RV pads are poured concrete, they aren’t level. I have no idea why they’d do that. Also, they do not allow you to wash your rig - if you pay this much for an RV site, you should at least be able to wash your own rig. And you aren’t allowed to put out a fenced kennel for your dogs. Finally, one of the reasons we booked there was for the pool . . . yet it was closed for no obvious reason. We should have been told ahead of time it was closed - we’d have gone somewhere else. Bottom line - it’s a nice Park, but at “Resort” prices, we expected better, and have received much nicer at other parks. We stayed at another RVC Outdoors property in Hot Springs, AK, (Catherine’s Landing), at similar prices, that put this park to shame.

Resort style with swim pool, pavilion, playground. Two bathhouses were inconveniently located far from sites, a good walk after dark. But showers were hot and spacious. Good enough laundry. FHU sites, small trees with little shade is good in cold weather. Warning - sites have cement curb to protect utilities, but risky to trip over, especially after dark. Be advised, weekend was noisy. Partiers at the pool woke us at 2am, a phone call went to message, but they called right back, then sent the noisy folks away.

Does not participate in tents for troops any longer, but was a superb campground nonetheless.

If you have a reason to be in or near Pine Mtn GA, such as passing through, visiting Roosevelt State, or going to Callaway Gardens, and are looking for a pleasant place to park your RV with full hook up including cable, this is it. The newer campsites have concrete pads and are pull through. The bath houses are family style with each private room containing double sinks, a toilet stall and a large curtained shower. They are clean and comfortable. There is a nice pool, a very nice kids' pool and a hot tub. There are very few trees. Many sites, especially in the older section with gravel pads, have considerable road noise. Verizon cell service and WiFi are both good here.

We showed up and found that the previous manager had been fired and we have been going here for the past 7yrs so we knew her very well and called her to say hi and have her meet my new niece. She would not tell us details about her dismissal, only that she was no longer allowed on property. That night at about 11:30 PM my sister got a knock on the door by the sheriff saying that she had to leave the property, because we had spoken with her. Seriously!! They said that she and her husband and three children one a newborn, could stay the night they just had to be out by 8 AM, so my sister called and talk to the manager and he said that he would talk to his boss at 9am and let her know. The next morning the manager came and apologized for how he handled the situation and how rudely he spoke to my sister on the phone. He also said they could stay for the rest of the bike rally. So, my sister being a vendor at the function set up your tent and went to sell her goods. AGAIN!! The manager calls her and accuses her of calling their office over 30 times and harassing the staff. This is after we were all sitting there eating (6:30pm)and she never even picked up her phone!!! So the management at this place involved my sister and all of our friends, about 60 people in some drama we really were not involved or even interested in and ruined our entire weekend and all the work we did preparing for a rally benefiting Saint Jude children's hospital. The manager called her again after we had gotten back home and told her she was no longer welcome at any of their properties because someone else at the rally heard about what happened and said something on Facebook.

This place was great. Spots were very spaced out and well laid out to not feel crowded, even if someone was right next to you. Our pull through spot on a pad was very easy to get into and exactly level. We were there the weekend before Halloween, and they did a cute little candy/coloring/prize event for the kids. Super close to the awesome Animal Safari and Calloway Gardens down there as well.

This is a very well run park, pricey yes but well worth the extra $$$! WIFI was very good here, didn't try cable as we have our own satellite dish.
It's also the largest RV resort we've been in, by that I mean space between sites is huge! VERY easy in and out here! I would definitely stay here again. We stayed 3 nights in a fifth wheel.
