For Beaver Lake Campground: What a gem of a spot! Peaceful, quiet, roomy spots. Not fancy but such a lovely spot to spend a quiet evening/night. Water and electric hookups with a dump station at the entrance. Has washrooms but didn’t visit that facility. Owner is warm and gracious offering interesting info about the area. For example, Dexfield Park had an Olympic sized pool along with an amusement park. If you’re in the Stuart/Dexter area spend the night. BTW, GPS send you to a house rather than the campground … continue along the road which turns left, then right and left again. The campground is just before the next right turn in the road. Enjoy!

For Beaver Lake Campground: Campground mostly empty and quiet. Driveway right on a corner of the road before it turns right if you are coming from the interstate. Sign for Beaver Lake Campground had all the paint worn off so I missed it the first time. I was caught off guard looking straight where a road actually takes you down to the lake. Nice, large pull through sites. I have a 36 ft camper with 20 ft F-150. I have enough space for both. Elec and water hookups at site. Lots of real-estate to spread out on. Have a dump station at top of the hill. Fire ring provided. It’s quiet here. Camp hosts elderly and real nice. Stopped here to take a break from all our driving from Nebraska to have a camp fire.

For Beaver Lake Campground: Spots were all full with what looked to be long term campers. CrAmmed into the park with no space available late on a Sunday night. Don’t waste your time on this one for just a passing through stop.

For Beaver Lake Campground: If you are looking for a quiet place to bed down for the evening and are not in a hurry, this place is great. Electric & water only with an almost vacant campground in the middle of Iowa farm land for $20 plus tax. The only noises we heard were a couple of cows mooing over the hill.
I wish we had more time to sit in a chair under a tree and just read for a couple of days. It's like someone dropped a 12 site campground in the middle of the farms. Loved it.

For Beaver Lake Campground: Not easy to find really. Will not ever return. Had to sit around and wait for someone to knock on our door for money for site. Hate that.
