For 3 Fingers Campground: Mostly seasonals with some nice concrete pull-throughs out front for overnighters. Yes water has iron in it so it has an odor. But fairly common for Iowa well water and is what filter systems are for. Quiet being surrounded by farmland. Pretty good dark sky. Nice playground for kids. Adequate walking space with being large park next to dead end road. Park roads narrow with some fairly tight turns. If overnighting, try to get pull-through site down from office a little. Otherwise, may have to pull in by office then back out down road some to be able to pull into sites A and B. Unable to be outside long due to biting flies. Limited success with bug spray. Limited/no lake access. No laundry. Trash dumpsters somewhat inconvenient. Stayed for a week in September in 40' trailer. Owners customer oriented. Recommend larger rigs come in and go out by Winnebago plant instead of through town.

For 3 Fingers Campground: Made reservations weeks in advance for the 4th of July weekend. We get to the campground only to find our site was occupied. They told us that our site had been changed and moved us to a spot in full sun. We had 2 pop up campers on one site ( we asked when making reservations and they said it was ok) got all set up and the rude manager came over and told is that she didn't like how our campers were set up and wanted us to move it. So we moved it. The bathrooms were horrible, they had black mold all over the walls and the water smelled like rotten eggs. After spending one night we told the manager our concerns and we were leaving and wanted the rest of our money back. They gave us a hard time but did give us our money back after calling us freeloaders. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
