For Stone State Park: Nice small and shady campground. Great value at $18 for an electric site. Ranger was friendly and helpful when we pulled in at dusk. The restrooms and showers were clean. Sites were small and close but worked well for an overnight spot. It is about 4.5 miles from the interstate. We were I a camper van. Would stay again

For Stone State Park: Quiet comfortable overnight stay. The park has beautiful foliage. Campsites are shaded. There are beautiful hiking trails. However, they are a little under used and overgrown. Bathhouse on-site, but’s it’s in need of updating. Be sure you stop for food and supplies before arriving. The nearest grocery (Walmart) is over 7 miles, a 20 minute drive, from site.

For Stone State Park: Very nice trees. Ok size RV spots. Lots of low hanging trees throughout park. Roads are very narrow. We pulled a 42 footer into the park with reservations for a 46 foot back-in spot. Luckily the park was basically empty which allowed us to get into the spot relatively easily. If other campers had been there, it could have been difficult - roads are small with lots of trees.

I wish we had our old 20 footer. It would have been perfect. Big rigs beware.

For Stone State Park: Tried to enter this park in early March. Gate across campground entrance even though snow had melted and temps were in the 50s. Looked lovely, very well treed.
