For Winterset City Park Campground: Can’t say enough about this little gem of a campground. We were in W/E site #19. Some sites are FHU. All sites share a water spigot with the adjacent site, the spigot has a splitter so 2 hoses can be attached simultaneously, we didn’t find this to be a problem. There is a clean easily accessible dump station. We didn’t use the restrooms or showers but they were very clean and appeared to be in good order. The CG is in the Winterset City Park which is really nice, one of the famous Bridges of Madison County is in the park and was only a 3-4 minute walk from our site. The John Wayne Museum and birthplace is minutes away in downtown Winterset. We would definitely stay here again if in the area.

For Winterset City Park Campground: Wonderful campsite. Right next to a city park that has wonderful wood carvings and a covered bridge. There’s a very nice campground host. Drove up on a Sunday night and found a site. Highly recommended!

For Winterset City Park Campground: Very nice city park. Limited full hook ups. Easy in and easy out. Right next to the very nice and large city park. Close proximity to all 6 covered bridges. One of the bridges is in the park. Camp host was very friendly and helpful

For Winterset City Park Campground: Nice municipal park. Very clean, nice lay out full hook up. Great location to visit the Bridges of Madison County.
