For Mokins Bay Campground: Very long narrow windy road to get to campsite. We have a 28 trailer that fit just perfectly in space 003. Dispersed camping , pit toilets. Quiet, nice to walk around in park. We were there 3 nights and looks like people use it as an over nighter place. Lots of shade.

For Mokins Bay Campground: Lovely, rain-forest-like feel (in May and June when we went), plenty of vegetation and fair amount of privacy between sites. Nice, clean, low-odor pit toilets (again, in Early June) and one water spigot for all 16 campsites, which was fine. Most spots are fairly short (35-45 feet) but a few sites might accommodate a bit larger rig. Site 16 is huge, would be great for friends to meet around the campfire at night. The campground road is paved, but the site spurs are well-packed gravel. Not a ton of space in most sites for big/multiple tents, but really not bad. The road from Coeur d'Alene is super windy with several hair-pin turns, but my parents got their 34' TT to the campground with little trouble. As for activities, you can walk barely 1/4 mile to the lake where you could fish from the dock or launch small canoes/kayaks/paddle boards, but there is no public swimming area close (it's 10+ miles on the windy road to Honeysuckle Beach at the South-Western point of the lake). Hiking/walking around the area or mountain biking would be fun, too. The area is beautiful and you will pass many luxury homes and lots of wildlife and beauty on the way.

For Mokins Bay Campground: Last 13 miles are extremely curvy and posted 15 mph. Our 30 foot RV had to "cut" the hairpin turns. Campground sites were short and only two sites would have accommodated our 30 foot RV.
