For Heise Hot Springs: The crabbiest person behind the desk I have ever met. If you hate your job so much maybe another career would work for you. We did not get proper paper work for entry codes and such making the workers run back and forth to get things corrected. Apparently no maps are available a point in the general direction and grunt gets you by here. We had few guests around us. I understand why. Once I got checked in and the codes for what I was paying for, as long as I could avoid the front desk things went smoothly. The various porta pottys were well kept. I did not see or understand the comments on the "zip lines" it is my understanding that you had to be transported to them via vehicles. There was construction at the main pool, which we were told about before arrival. Of the two "hot pools" it is my understanding that one of them is from the hot springs and the other is just heated. There were some townies in taking pool lessons so we came back later and had a great time. Some of our group had pizza and said it was good. Speaking of groups my wife tried to arrange so our two sites would be together....um no that id not happen.

For Heise Hot Springs: For the price, I guess I expected a little more. I'm a bit surprised the hot springs are an extra cost. Also, most of the campgrounds are under the zip lines which is a bit noisy while they speed by. Overall, for $40 a night, I would have expected to know I would have to deal with zip liners over the top of my RV.

For Heise Hot Springs: Came here at the end of the season 2018. We have a 41 ft toy hauler and were able to manoeuvre it into a beautiful treed spot with help from the staff. Had pizza at the restaurant one of the nights; HIGHLY recommend the pizza!! Staff was friendly and prices were good. The wifi was great, no issues for us. Perhaps it was because there were not many campers here. Did not use the showers or restrooms (so no comment on that). Spent a few hours at the hot springs. The cost was 10$ each and were able to come and go for the whole day. Our campsite was walking distance to the springs. Slight sulphur smell was tolerable. Wind storm here last week has taken many of the very large willow trees. I would stay here again.

FaniB

For Heise Hot Springs: Good points: friendly staff, easy to make a reservation, beautiful mature weeping willows on the property, it has a laundromat and the machines cost only $1.00, lawns are perpetually watered, so it's green, road noise decreased after dark, the pools have life guards.
Bad points: noisy road with lots of ATV's with people standing on them, hooting and hollering until it got dark, and big trucks; laundromat had 2 working washers; bathrooms are only in main Campground, with a code needed to enter a gate, and the 2 stalls are curtained; showers cost extra with no way to regulate pressure or heat; bathroom is dark. If you stay in the "golf" area, only portapotties. The hot springs are highly sulfuric, and cost $10.00, even if you are staying there, and you will only have an hour in which to use them. If you want to use the slide into the cool pool, it's an extra $5.00. We stayed on a Monday, in August, in a 24 foot trailer. The place was very crowded, the CA a phony ear deafening. We would not stay here again.

The Ullrich's

For Heise Hot Springs: Plenty of room for all sizes of rigs. The hot springs pool was awesome and the staff were more than helpful and sweet! Can't wait to come back and visit again soon.

Jim

For Heise Hot Springs: Camp sites are grassy lawn. Nice size yard in front of RV. Many activities for the family. But they all cost extra. Nice place to stay when traveling.
