For Bonner County Fairgrounds: We showed up without a reservation and had no problem getting a spot. No camp host, but we arrived during weekday business hours and office was open. Staff is very friendly. The grounds are nice and clean. Plenty of space to walk and exercise with the dogs. Convenient dump station. We didn’t have need but bathrooms with showers available. There’s water and electricity at campsite. We feel great price for camping amenities and close to town. The train is a bit noisy but we didn’t mind.

For Bonner County Fairgrounds: Sites are paved and pretty level but close together. Some have trees which offer shade. Others are full sun. Bathrooms are clean and functional. No host when we stayed but there was a phone number so we could reach the main office. WiFi is just ok but at least it’s available. 14-day limit. Fairly quiet except for trains. They didn’t bother us. Two stores fairly close-Walmart and Yokes. Laundry acres from Walmart. Town also fairly close with some cute shops and restaurants.

For Bonner County Fairgrounds: This place exceeded my expectation right from the beginning A assumed dirt field with livestock penned up nearby Well,... no livestock in sight, paved access and paved sites with small strips of grass & trees provide plenty of shade on east side of park. Water/electric (50amp) picnic table. Two dump stations at exit of park seemed to be busy as others made use of the free dump. The camp hosts was pleasant and attentive. The train horn was noticeable but some ear plugs and it was not an issue. Great value @ $25 per night Close by to shopping and 3 miles from downtown Sandpoint. I would stay here again

For Bonner County Fairgrounds: 14 day limit. No long term campers. Reserve on line. Nearly all sites quite level. Some sites pretty close to each other, others not so much. Our site #19 easily within range of jacks. Every two sites share a y’ed water spigot. Some sites in full sun, others part shade. Didn’t check out bathrooms. Trains nearby but not bothersome to us. 2 lane dump station at front of fairground entrance. Clean, reasonably priced laundromat directly across the street from front of Super WalMart. Gas station at intersection with WalMart is easy in/out for large rigs. Would stay here again.

For Bonner County Fairgrounds: The campground appears occupied by mostly long term customers. We didn’t plan on staying so didn’t ask about sites, just drove through to look. The RV Dump is not near the campground. It’s just inside the fairgrounds, and to the south of the campground entrance. Enter the dump site from either of the two adjacent fairground entrance roads. The site is well designed and maintained EXCEPT for the potable freshwater supply, which is a single spigot just off the dump site pavement towards the nearby public street. If a rig is parked in the dump lane nearest the public street, they are blocking access to the freshwater spigot. If someone parks to get freshwater they are blocking one of the two dumping lanes. We’ve used this site several times and every time there’s a vehicle juggling match involving the freshwater spigot. It’s not a problem when people are patient and willing to wait for others to get of the way, but that’s not the usual situation. Maybe for that reason someone has put a bumper sticker on the rinse water pedestal: “RELAX. You’re in Idaho now!” Other than that the dump site is fine: easy to dump waste, clean, and free.

For Bonner County Fairgrounds: The "host" of this camp is a jerk.
He lied to us several times and didn't have the balls to admit it. He screwed up our space and we had to leave early.
He threatened us on the phone
Pretty sure this dude needs to find a different profession and take some anger management classes

For Bonner County Fairgrounds: The Fairgrounds: Roads are paved, sites are level and paved. Nice green grass between sites. Water & electric at site. D/S on exit. Bathrooms and showers spotless. Less than one mile from rt 95/2. Walmart, Home Depot, Big R, Drug store, Safe Way all close by. Convenient for visiting Sandpoint. We visited with a MH. (Train passes 1-2 x every night & didn't bother us)
