For Kit Price Campground: Kit Price is a nice FS campground with nice, roomy sites, long drive-ways, and plenty of vegetation/shade and a fair amount of privacy between sites. Older Pit toilets that do get pretty ripe during the hotter months, but are fairly well maintained. Paved campground road and parking spurs. Water spigots but no grey-water cisterns.
The campground runs along the North Fork of the beautiful Coeur d'Alene River, which is great for floating for hours in the early-mid summer (in August, the river is often too shallow and you will walk alot). There are plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and water activities available in the area.
The town of Murray is a short drive south where you will find the Bedroom Goldmine Bar, a divey bar-restaurant with the remnants and story of an unregistered goldmine that was dug into a bedroom closet. Now, it's just a hole in the floor covered with plexiglass, but interesting all the same. The bar is a favorite for locals and they have surprisingly decent pizza and bar food if you are hungry for something other than camping food.
Prichard is also a few miles south where you will find a convenience store (no gas) with all the basics and really yummy hand-scooped ice cream.
**Kit Price may be closed during the 2018 season for removal of trees, so I am unsure of how the campground will look afterward.**
