For Paul Wolff Campground - Burnidge Wolff Forest Preserve: Stayed here 12 days. Beautiful area and walks. Close to any shopping you’d need. No showers or laundry. Easy access to dump- included when you stay. Deer, owls, bunnies. Well cared for and we loved it. Will stay again when visiting family. Very spacious sites. Friendly and kind staff. Just perfect!

For Paul Wolff Campground - Burnidge Wolff Forest Preserve: We have stayed here a few times this year and love it! Nice level pads, nice fire pit area and the staff has always been so welcoming. There are some great hiking trails that connect right at the campground loop. We are staying at this campground twice in September and a October as we make our way out West and then back East as we go full time. Check out is 2pm which is fantastic - if you need to check out later and it’s not busy you can most likely do so.

For Paul Wolff Campground - Burnidge Wolff Forest Preserve: This is a beautiful park. Concrete levels pads, fire pits surrounded by gravel and wide spaces make this an easy park to use. But the friendly staff is the #1 amenity. The only drawback to this park is the low water pressure.

For Paul Wolff Campground - Burnidge Wolff Forest Preserve: This is a very nice and well set up county RV park. It is very convenient to the Big Timber Metra station for tourists wanting to go to Chicago. We stayed a week in the nicely shaded site, number 11. As others have stated, the only downside is there are no showers or sewer hookups, which can be a concern when staying for more than a few days. I spoke with the management and they hope to install showers at some point, which will make this an outstanding place to stay in the Chicago area. There is no Wi-Fi, but our Verizon coverage was good. Antenna TV reception was excellent. We stayed in a 36 foot fifth wheel.

For Paul Wolff Campground - Burnidge Wolff Forest Preserve: We stopped here for a quick over night. This is a lovely place and I am sorry we couldn't stay longer. The grounds are clean, well maintained and the sites are all paved. We hooked up with water and electric (50 amp) for $25/night because we are NOT county residents. There's a dump station nearby which is included with your site fee. There are hiking trails nearby (as mentioned in the other review), but we didn't have time for hiking (unfortunately). There currently is some construction going around near the hiking trails, but we haven't noticed anything at our site (#69). Dave, the gentlemen who checked us in, was kind and friendly. He mentioned that there's a nearby train that you can catch which takes you into Chicago about 1 hour ride. Unfortunately, we didn't have time for it, but thought others might find this information helpful. Nice place to stay for more than one night if you get the opportunity. I only gave it 4 stars, because of the construction. Hope this helps.

For Paul Wolff Campground - Burnidge Wolff Forest Preserve: Have camped here for years when I lived in Kane County. The improvements they have made over the years are great. I prefer the older section of RV parking because there is great shade. Quiet and relaxing, especially during the week. Small playground for kids, fishing ponds and many hiking trails. Close to shopping if needed and restaurants...but it is nature that sells this campground for me. Staff is friendly and keeps the park pristine. Rate is $25/night for anyone who is not a Kane Co. resident
