For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Pleasant campground. Based on office and attached restroom layout - it was obviously built as a KOA. Bathrooms were clean but one shower had red rust and another made a horrid screeching noise while water was running. Bathrooms could do with a major refresh as has been happening with a lot of similar style KOAs.

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Really excellent campground- super clean grounds and bathrooms, level sites, great pool, and very helpful campground attendants. Easy access to and from the highway.

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: This park was everything the previous reviews promised and more. We only stayed one night while traveling through the area, but would have loved to stay longer. This is what all rv parks should hope to be. Clean, organized and beautifully done. Will plan to stay here again if traveling this way.

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Our first stop of the season. Bill was so helpful helping us remember how to set up camp. Very clean and friendly. Hopefully we will be that way again!!

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Quick overnight stop on our way home- felt like stop at a family place. Owners are so friendly and helpful. We did our laundry and used the showers and bathrooms. It rained all night but they made us as comfortable as possible. It’s an older place but so clean and welcoming. Stay here if you are in the area!

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Very, Very nice owners / staff! If all campground staffs were as well mannered, pleasant, customer service oriented & all round nice, they would be better! Camp sites were in great working order, level & clean. Everything was great. We stayed 2 nights & will be back.

For Galesburg East/Knoxville KOA Journey: Found this place on allstays as stop on way to Dubuque. Can’t say enough good things. Great owners. Meticulously managed camp grounds. Heated pool, laundry, propane, full hookups. We were going to stay one night but loved the place so much stayed for 2. What I really loved was the tall corn field that defines the northwest parameter of the camp ground. It felt like ‘Field if Dreams’. I kept expecting Burt Lancaster to step out and introduce himself. You will not be disappointed if you come here.
