For Camp A While: A great little campground off the beaten path but close to Lincoln. Friendly owners meet everyone at the entrance to get you expertly located in your site. Park is small but cozy and well kept. Our sit was a full hook up 50 amp. Corn and soy beans are the only neighbors. Close to old Route 66. Springfield is about 45 minutes away with the Lincoln Library / Museum and the Capitol building. Lincoln’s Tomb is a can’t miss while there.

For Camp A While: We stopped at Camp A While for an overnight stay and so glad we did. The owners are two young brothers with their yellow lab, Wrigley ,who’s the official greeter. We called ahead and they were very accommodating. Lincoln, IL a cool little town.

For Camp A While: We stayed one night as we passed through, had a great experience. The brothers that own the campground greeted us and assisted with getting settled. They made is feel welcome and the campground lab (wrigley) was welcoming to our golden retriever. The place was well kept and clean - don’t miss the opportunity to stay here when passing through.
