For Hickory Grove Campground: This campground was a perfect overnight stop. The hosts were friendly and the camp was peaceful and very well kept up. I will definitely stay here again as I travel to the west.

For Hickory Grove Campground: I needed to write a review on this place because our experience was very different than all the other reviews. The site we had was nice and open. Very quiet. That is why it earned the 2 stars but the lady that worked/owned the place was NOT friendly. We acted put out that she even had to check us in. The bathrooms were HORRIBLE!! Doors broken, toilet was brown. I couldn’t believe how bad they were and expected to find others but there wasn’t any. Would not stay here again.

For Hickory Grove Campground: What a beautiful place for an overnight stop! Did not use rest rooms. Sites are level with plenty of room, very nice owners.

For Hickory Grove Campground: Agree with the previous reviews. This is a wonderful campground in the middle of cornfields. We had a pull thru lot with plenty of space between sites. The big plus for us was a fenced dog area we’re our 4 rescues could run off their energy after several days of travel. The campground is well maintained and the staff is friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

For Hickory Grove Campground: Tucked away in between cornfields. Very quiet & clean. Had full hookup and pull through. Ate at Red’s Bar & Grill in town- highly recommend. A stop at the Psychedelic Saloon was also fun! Would stay again!

For Hickory Grove Campground: This is a campground, sites are spaced out and have plenty green area with trees. We had a FHU back-in site. Campground surrounded by farmland. About 5 miles from interstate and Sheffield, IL. Recommend Red's Bar and Grill. Close to Ronald Reagan's birthplace. Staff was very friendly, let us pick our site from what was available. No store. Nice place to get away.
