For Acorn Oaks Campground: Stayed 7/27/19. Nice campground right next to massive cornfields. Had a great overnight. We were offered several campsites and chose a 50 amp & water site next to a small pond. The campground was recovering from recent storm damage so it wasn’t yet 100%, but we really enjoyed the night we spent there. The office personnel were eager to help and made us feel very welcome. All in all a very pleasant experience; we will return if we’re ever in this area again.

For Acorn Oaks Campground: The short term stay area of the campground is very nice. We were only there for one night but were placed next to the Seasonal resident area. It was like most Seasonal campgrounds that are not very well kept. We would stay again but ask for a site in the much nicer transient area. No Wi-Fi.

For Acorn Oaks Campground: Peaceful, quiet and well kept. Lots of trees and shade. Nice, although short, walking trail. Owner is very nice and makes sure you are pleased.
