For Caboose Lake Campground: We have stayed at this park at least 10 times, this time they were not friendly at all, got in 8 minutes before chech- in, wanted to charge me 26.00 for early check in , said i will go out and wait in truck for 7 minutes, said i cant block drive, their trees need to be trimed scratch sides of rv, didnt get site i was promised back in january, it was empty all week, this will be the ladt time we and several friends will patronize this park.

For Caboose Lake Campground: This is a great RV park with very helpful, friendly staff! The parking sites are narrow but due to layout not all are next to each other. We had a great site and pulled in so we could see the lake and even try fishing. Yes you can hear the freeway but compared to other campgrounds with trains & horns this is very nice. We own a 36’ motorhome with a tow and found it easy to navigate. A real plus of a RV park if you are in the area.

For Caboose Lake Campground: We were looking for an overnight spot while passing thru. They advertise the campground as big rig friendly. I called ahead and asked if they had a pull-thru that could handle a 40' class A towing and that had no tree obstructions that would scratch the coach. I was told they had one. Arrived just before 5pm. Was checked in and went on to our site. They pull-thru was long but had trees on both sides that touched the coach before we put the slides out. I called the office but got a recording. Since you can't back up when towing we had to disconnect the car in order to move the coach within the spot so we could put the slides out....not happy. An hour later we were as settled as we could be. The campground is right next to the freeway which normally is not a problem but the traffic was so loud all night, it sounded like a jet constantly taking off while shaking the coach. Definitely would not recommend this campground for big rigs if you care about the paint job on your coach.

For Caboose Lake Campground: We stayed at this campground last night. Liked it so much would have stayed another night if we didn't already have plans. Sits on a small lake with some trees, but we were able to use our satellite. Picnic table & fire ring at each site. $41 per night with Good Sam. There are some monthly or so visitors, but they seem to take some pride in their sites. Lots of kids activities, along with swimming. Seemed very Family oriented, but just fine for us 2 retired with dogs. A walker g path all around the lake is a mile, so nice walking option with dogs. Nothing super fancy or resort like.....just a nice relaxing family place. We would definitely stay here again. Did not use public restrooms. Used 50 amp pull thru

For Caboose Lake Campground: Nice park. We got there late and left early so did not get to experience it much. Never even met the staff. Or map and spot was waiting on us. I thought the interstate would be an issue but never heard it. Tent campers might.
