Working Dog

For Spring Lake RV Resort: We were in a pull through site with full hookups The RV pad was gravel and the entrance/exits was just grass. It was not close to level front to rear, when auto leveling my front tires came off the ground. I was concerned on leaving because we had rain the night before our departure. The bathrooms were clean. The interior roads were gravel There we a large number of long term residents with short term users sent to the back of the park. Biting flies was a big problem

For Spring Lake RV Resort: What a pleasant surprise! We needed a site for 1 night in route up I-135. The person we spoke to was very helpful to get us situated for the evening. Being 12 miles off of I-135 the park was very quiet. We pulled in just as the sun was setting and was in awe over the grounds with a putt putt golf course, playground, fishing pond, bridge to an island and large shaded sites. Our site was not as level as I would have liked, but we made it work. Our GPS brought us right into the entrance without any problem. Wish we had the time to spend a few nights. We will be back. Thanks, SeeMoor

Dave

For Spring Lake RV Resort: We chose to have a mini-reunion with some of our kids and grandkids at Spring Lake over a weekend. The location was convenient for most of us. We had a nice time Friday as there is lots of activities to do at the campground. There was a strong storm that night though and we spent Saturday morning drying out. But by the afternoon, things were back to normal and we were having a great time into the night! On Sunday morning we gathered at our site and started having a nice, quiet breakfast. Around 8:30 though, they started mowing with a very loud mower close to our site. We could hardly hear each other talk for 30 minutes or more. When we asked him to stop, he just said "you're okay" and continued mowing. It really ruined the morning for us as it was a time we wanted to cook and eat together. To me, Sunday morning is the one time of the week that should be reserved for quiet family time. We may not return to Spring Lake. I won't recommend it as the mowing really ruined our get together. They should schedule the ground work at better times during the week.

Lucinda

For Spring Lake RV Resort: The property was beautiful with ponds, walkways, putt putt, fishing, great big cypress trees, ducks. A really nice, peaceful place. It did need some maintenance for sure, and the sites were not level, but the overall ambience could not be better. I would definitely come back.

Annette

For Spring Lake RV Resort: Arrived after dark- very nice owners but signage is dreadful! We drive around looking for our site forever! 95% full timers. Bad dirt roads with many holes. Fairly level site. Very large park but could use a ton of upgrades. Very ran down facilities. Probably wouldn’t go back.

William

For Spring Lake RV Resort: They have a great pickle ball court! Nice areas to walk including ace short hiking trail. Trees, fishing ponds, clubhouse with activities, swimming pool, we stayed here in our 40 foot motorhome and will come back again when passing through. We used our Passport America for half price. Approximately paid $13.

geoatl

For Spring Lake RV Resort: Used our PA discount for $13 a night. End up staying 4 nights since it was so nice. Free WIFI. Hot showers and nice doggy walk area. The camp host were real nice and easy to get a long with. They have a lot of Friday and Saturday activities during peak season. Will stay again if passing through.
