For Minooka Park: This is a very nice campground. Well maintained. Gravel sites plenty wide and away from next site. Just a little tight to get into due to campers across street and numberd posts but doable. Great views of cliff lined reservoir. We will come camp here again for sure. Closest Walmart 45 minutes away. If you like wide open spaces...this is it. Have toilets and showers but did not use.

For Minooka Park: We used electric only. Beautiful sweeping views of the reservoir. Usually of good breeze. Campsites clean and good spacing between.

For Minooka Park: All COE parks are pretty nice and well kept. I don’t give above 3 stars if there are no sewer hook ups...which the COE doesn’t ever seem to install. But they are engineers so the pads are usually level enough and the electrical seems to always work. I liked this park and highly recommend...but evidently, they cut the water off in below freezing weather. Bring your own in the frosty months.

For Minooka Park: I would give a 5 star but none of the water-electric sites actually had water. The water was turned off and we couldn't find any signs telling us that beforehand. We set up and then realized it. Had to hook back up and go fill the fresh tank. The sites weren't very level but not horrible. Otherwise, beautiful campground with nice playground!

April 22, 2017:
Wanted to add to my previous review...please note that while this listing says it is year-round...it does not have water for most of the park until May. The electric hookup on the first site we tried was upside down. The second was wired for a 20 amp but said it was 30amp. I am tempted to change my review to less stars but we got here after a long day of driving and in the rain so I'm trying to be fair...
