Jamie

For Walnut Meadow RV Park: On our way home from Michigan. We opted to stay in a campground before we got home so we could drain our tanks in our motorcoach. The camp host very attentive and accommodating. Our Coach has basement cruise airs. The 50amp service wouldn’t allow us to use but one unit on the box designed for our site. The host told me the previous night another couple with a Prevost had to connect a second power supply to the next sight to have enough amperage on each leg. As such we had to do as well. Our coach is 40’ towing a Jeep and the campground was easy to menuver through to our sight which was a pull through. The in roads are all white rock and will kick up a lot of dust over was well worth the stop over. Very pet friendly. The long term camping tenants keep their sights neat and in order. Would stay there again if the same situation arose.

For Walnut Meadow RV Park: Really helpful staff! No frills Rv park. Parking was easy and this was a good one night stop. Needs places to hang up clothing/belongings, esp in the men’s shower area.

Hello Hoosier

For Walnut Meadow RV Park: We made a last minute reservation here for a quick overnight stay. Very nice woman advised us to stop at mailboxes first and she’d meet us. She was there in under 1 minute! Since it was after hours, she checked us in at our vehicle and escorted us straight to our very long pull through - 90 feet I think. Room for our long bed truck, 45’ fifth wheel and extra car. We didn’t use any facilities or walk around as it was 20 degrees. Also close to 75, but we had no issue with noise at all. Would definitely stay here for quick overnight again.

For Walnut Meadow RV Park: For an overnight stop it’s fine. Staff is very friendly, price is good, water quality is fine, and their “security” is cute as can be.

For Walnut Meadow RV Park: Not a bad one night stop over. Very reasonable price and level sites. Might be a bit tight for a big rig

For Walnut Meadow RV Park: Easy access, level gravel sites with full hookups at most. We are 36’ Class A. Very friendly and helpful staff. Originally only planned a one day stay, but there was so much to do in local area we added a day! Inexpensive, clean and lots of grass area!

Doug S

For Walnut Meadow RV Park: The 5 stars are not for it being an “upscale” campground. It’s a basic, clean and easily accessible place with level, gravel sites. We have a 42 ft class A which the campground easily accommodates without us having to unhook our toad. We haven’t used any of the facilities so can’t comment on that. Our rating is based on ease of access from I-75 and how the owners run their campground. The owners are extremely accommodating. They’re working hard to improve the campground by converting more sites to full hook-up and improving the park overall. We stayed here on the way to Michigan in July and are now staying again on our way home to NC. We only stayed one night each time and wanted a full service site, and they’ve gone out of their way to accommodate us. We will stay again next year as we head north.
