For Eagles Nest-Fletcher: Stayed at Fletcher Fork campground on 1-6 Aug 2017, Nice little camp, tidy well kept, friendly atmosphere. Would stay again. There is a little construction on the nearby dam, water is not flowing, however the noise from the work site did not disturb us. Did see plenty of deer, turtles in what is left of the stream. Also seen what we thought was a beaver or otter. Enjoyed our stay here.

For Eagles Nest-Fletcher: We stayed at Fletcher's Fork in October of 2015 and considered it a 3. However, our second go around was disappointing to say the least. We had planned to stay 11 nights, but ended up only staying 4 nights. We were evacuated due to flooding of the area. It's just a mess! There is little to no cell phone coverage, no internet, no tv channels at all, and they shoot skeets from sunrise to sunset every single day. We retired out of Ft Campbell and are very familiar with the area. We have always loved the recreation areas just outside of Gate 10. We are also full-time RV'ers and travel across the country. We often stay at military installations. At $25 a night, this is one of the more expensive ones that we have encountered. Once we evacuated, they offered to let us dry camp at the top of the hill where Eagle's Nest is located. They were not going to refund our money for the nights we would be evacuated and dry camping. I opted for a refund of the remaining nights and we headed on over to the Exit 1 Campground in Clarksville. It's $10 more a night but worth it for our needs. This will probably be the last time we stay at Ft Campbell.

For Eagles Nest-Fletcher: My husband and I stayed for 2 days in a 5th wheel RV. It was difficult to find, not many signs up for the RV park and if you want a pull thru you need to go stay at Fletchers. The Eagles Nest is all back ins and tree covered. No wifi or TV stations over the air or cable, so bring a book or DVDs. If you need to do laundry you have to go to Eagles Nest. The bathrooms are ok. The base is very nice but the RV park is far from anywhere. A lot of outdoor activities if you are into that. I was just disappointed being an Army Veteran. I guess I had hoped that things would be better. Make sure you ask for a map when you check in so you can find what you need.
