For Parc DOrleans: Definitely in the not so nice section of town BUT new security fence all the way around property with coded gate access. Far less expensive than the park in the heart of DT. Just beware you are not staying in Beverly Hills. If you are looking for budget friendly adequate place to stay, here it is. There’s a couple of “shady” looking campers but plenty of nice, new, non-cluttered up rig as well

For Parc DOrleans: This RV Park is secured with a fence and gate. It fit the bill for us at $30/night for full hook-ups. The sites are concrete and level. Only six miles from downtown. The bathrooms are old and grody. The laundry facility works fine. We were there to see New Orleans and were dog tired when we returned at night. So we slept through the noise of the trains and sirens.

For Parc DOrleans: Everything is small, but that's universally true of NOLA RV parks. Sites were sized for about 25' rigs, but Curtis helped us get our 40' backed in, no problem. Sites are paved & level. Ground is reasonably dry even in drenching rain. Utilities were great. Waterline break was fixed in an hour! (On-site owner!)

For Parc DOrleans: Admittedly, we stayed in the winter months so things did not look their best. The park is located in a very seedy section of town. Prior to our stay, we never had concerns for the security of our RV and its contents. That definitely changed with this stay. There is no gate but owner (very friendly) is on site. The noise was unbelievable with trains whistling in the wee hours of the morning. Police sirens blaring at all hours. The sites are ok as are hookups. If you are touring NOLA and are a heavy sleeper, this could be the place.
